If we do not want regulation in crypto world, then probably we can have "Miners Association" which will decide to which coin we should mine or should not mine.

If the miners do not mine the coin, it is impossible for new scammers to run away with money.

A hero member should start a thread on Miners Association and the miners will join that thread. It will not be regulation and scammers also punished. We would discuss then the new launches and possibilites of scam involved in that coin. If one coin is unanimously agreed then and only then we should start mining.

Any suggestions!!!

I think devs should use their original bitcointalk username. By that, someone can know more about the dev before mining his coin.

.

And let's face it: we are at scamrex because the guy who took 10,000 BTC for a pizza is now sitting on 6 million USD... so we too hope the same will happen to us with USB or URO or any letter combination thereof. And that comes at a price.

If you want triple auditing trails, Sarbanes Oxley reports and regulated exchanges, you can always buy APPLE at NYSE or any other letter combination out there.

Does this mean things will stay as is and the next coin going to da moon is 199% certain it's going there with YOUR money?
Well, that's the big BIG challenge for bittrex or other exchanges: if there is any future in crypto coins, then the clever exchanges will / MUST get better at protecting their traders.
The exchanges that will survive will be the ones that really pick up very carefully the coins to be listed there and put clever risk management systems in place.

Until that day, I say goodbye to my btc risked on USB scam and look for a more serious exchange than bittrex.

Exchanges don't have to get better at protecting traders. Be angry with the scammer who made a quarter of a million dollars in less than a week and your decision to support this creep. Bittrex provides a legitimate service which is more than I can say for the white papers and whatnot released by these so called devs.
It's the devs to blame, and your support.
Hopefully you've learnt... And no, no one but the devs are ever going to get rich like the 10000 BTC pizza guy. If you believe that I don't know what to tell you

dont buy new coins on bittrex.

then they stop listing them and people stop getting scammed.

but lets be real...people are turning in criminal complaints too.

bittrex is playing with fire by hosting so many scams.

You can't unite people not to buy new coins on bittrex easily. Actually, you can't unite people in crypto world to do anything.

I don't see any crimes im sure the courts would agree.
I see lots of greedy unintelligent people being permitted to transfer their assets to third parties via unregulated online gambling services like Bittrex.
No crime
No recourse
Just reality and childish people who find being negligent with digital assets hard to accept when someone takes advantage of their greed.

Can I ask what your alternative for bittrex is? Another exchange? Or just not mining any altcoin?

I was did not mean to unduly single bittrex out, all the exchanges should be viewed as potentially profitable fast paced trading casinos!
Bittrex is getting a lot of attention this week as their policy of adding any new coin that gets more than 2btc per day on the smaller exchanges has lead to numerous covert premine scams costing over eager traders a lot of BTC.

OK. Do you have any suggestions? What can I do as a miner when I mine new coins?

Sorry for the lack of updates.  I don't think we will be turning this back on.  The block-chain is completely compromised, any rogue wallet can mint any amount of coins at will.

USB coin got 277btc volume for a day and this market seriously injured like 90% traders whose money hopelessly lost due to the negligent policy of your exchange. I guess that it would be fair to convert average USB price into BTC and refund accounts that have USB on balance. As instant, (ATH + ATL)/2 = (0.00004390+0.00000031)/2=0.00002210 per USB. Majority of us bought in this range. Think about this. Or lets ponder another solution

the dev can add coins in new blocks at will... the entire blockchain got compromised... your 3868 USB isnt worth anything atm, since the dev can easily add another 10million coins into the blockchain Cheesy

Sad to see that this coin turned into a scam. I kinda liked the feature that locked the wallet using a USB serial key.

Get a grip Bittrex have not fuked anyone over, they just jumped on a hyped coin so they could extract as much commission as possible, you know to profit the same reason you brought into USB as well.
The block chain is worthless due to the dev being able to create new coins at will just write that BTC off and try and learn for next time.

So what happened to the BTC that was accumulating in the rogue account? At what stage did Bittrex decide to pull the plug? After the account was drained?
How convenient.   Undecided

Are Bittrex saying they cant/wont do anything to address this? Does it happen often?

So many questions. I have more.
