dicebitco.in: "we need to get the profit for investors we rigged back, as people are rapidly divesting"

later...

dicebitco.in: "shit people are all divesting, we need to increase profit again"

now:

dicebitco.in: "PEOPLE ARE DIVESTING EVEN WHEN I FAKE PROFIT, I'M TAKING IT ALL AGAIN"

There's no logical explanation that a whale would continue to bet on a side with a tiny max bet and very suspicious circumstances, especially when the same site has been shown to rig rolls.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Dicebitco.in seems like a scam, so this site didn't last long I see..

What's up with the "cleansing" of their cold wallet?
https://blockchain.info/address/19tQNCrmaW6EADfJrtBaRixRkPyVrvb6yk

Looks like a "hit and run" to me.

I don't know about that. Everyone who wanted to have had their BTC sent out...  still. Anyone still investing will have lose their money now.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

I hope mateo keeps going.  He got profit down to around 20 btc... from 160.  I hope he makes it negative.  That would be quite a talking point.

Theoretically Mateo is supposed to lose cause of the house edge.

If I had win streaks like him, eh, I would be a billionaire  Wink

To Mods and Admins: Could we have his profit chart or something? I wanna see how much he's got from going crazy.

He's betting around 3 rolls per second, so every half a minute or so he should be contributing one bitcoin to the site's profit, over the long term.  How many thousands of bets do we have to watch to know something a little fishy is going on?

There is no logical explanation left. Even I say that now, after giving them the benefit of a doubt.

I was online when this issue started on DB.  Should have withdrawn my investment then and am starting to doubt the 'lucky' gambler story suddenly having a great winning streak just as this issue was blowing up.

In the few hours that have passed, the site's operator has been busy giving refunds and trying to track down the cause of the problem.  Its been less than 12 hours, so I doubt a FULL audit of all the code used to operate the site has been done.  Everything should be checked.  Deposits, withdrawals, investment calculations, all the servers and PCs for backdoors.  Who knows what else the rogue developer has left.  If they were willing to cheat before they are sure to see no problem in stealing now.

Everything has been checked. The user in question is legit(we thought exactly the same). If yuo notice, all his bets are HI. Not even a low one. We went though the code 12h non stop now, and its 100% clear.

All his bets are HI?  Grin

Site profit down from 280 to 160 to 30 -50 BTC now. I feel really sorry for the remaining investors who probably didn't follow the whole saga over the weekend. They will lose a shitload of coins.

To be fair to the devs, they aren't "cleaning" the cold wallet, they actively removed their secured funds from the cold wallet to put into the hot wallet so people could withdraw their investments yesterday.

Cold storage amount is 1620BTC and hasn't changed in the 12 hours I've been watching it.  Yet, site investment went down by over 1000 during that time.  Something doesn't add up.
