Once again you demonstrate your poor communication skills, typical of a European mindset that does not fully value freedom of expression. You are trolling haha. The announcement thread was self moderated, and the initial announcement was cross posted here. There is no reason to have to monitor and respond to posts on two different threads.

I don't think an identity would prove anything. IMO the programmer would likely deny creating the code as it would open him up to civil liability from dicebitco.in and potential criminal liability. They wish to stay anon and will likely not give up that anon just to feed the trolls

DB previously said he's personally associated with the developer and outing his identity could lead to himself being identified. I think it's an excuse, I don't believe there was a third developer, but that's the "official" reason for not naming him.

As far as liability goes, no court has the power to enforce a civil remedy on a website that likely isn't operating completely legally. As for criminally, perhaps on a looooooong shot. But you all do realize that you're "investing" or gambling with a (at best) semi-illegal gambling website owned anonymously, operated entirely though the internet, and only interacting with the owners through anonymous screen names, right? If your money is stolen, that's really on YOU.

You are very much correct. Legality here is nothing. If their was a rouge coder, he could blackmail Manl or have him imprisoned for operating an illegal gambling operation. yup, thats the reason why i left PRC. most of them are too blind loyal or maybe they want to recover some of their investment profits. After seeing those reported problem/bugs, i would be uncomfortable gambling there

The campaign thread for september was locked around the time the campaign reached 100 users. They appear to be making a different thread each month

I think the issue is that DB is likely not following the letter of the law in operating their website. As a result I would say they could potentially face liability (probably criminal) if they were to expose the dev even if they did nothing wrong in the nonce and mateo incident.

My personal opinion on them is that they have a lot of money (maybe they were early miners and have a good amount of bitcoin to spend) but have little business and programming experience.

It is probably already too late now.
The DB brand name is ruined, and I don't think it is a good idea for dooglus to step into the trouble after all these incidents.
Plus, dooglus was a big fan of DB, but it looks like he has turned to another site already.
