Can you do a bulk dust transfer to emergency addresses? Or just "nationalize" (or is it "privatize"?) those, I don't care either way, it's just my OCD that's bothered by it.

I don't think it sounds good. In short, you indirectly take measures that gamblers would lose their money sooner.

Dooglas reading your post about going overboard with the betting worries me because I've seen you be such a great part of the BTC community to date.  I'm a compulsive gambler and it can make you do things you wouldn't normally do.  One thing that helped me early on was to separate myself from my funds so that I wasn't tempted to gamble.  GL

That's a good idea.

I've put off paying out to emergency addresses, because I'm sure some people won't still have access to the address they set a year ago, and I'd rather have them withdraw to an address of their choosing.

But for dust amounts, that's fine.

Your luck seems to be pretty good with dice sites, you won what, 27BTC on PRC and how many with DiceBitco.in  I gave up on dice sites after losing ~$500 in BTC and LTC over 4 bets (80% chance of winning each  )

Quite the contrary! The limit we put is in the scales of milliseconds, and its to prevent the robot to bottleneck. We just want to ensure that everyone is treated great, can you imagine someone who betswith 0.01 BTc as base for instance to "lag" because someone else is spamming dust with 0.0000001 bets?

I just can't think of anyone who would be betting 0.01 BTC with the Robot Roll. If you really care to ensure that everyone is treated great equally, there should be no such limits to begin with.

The Freebitco.in auto-betting is serving hundreds (if not thousands) users betting "dust" and can still be able to keep up the rate of 2-3 bets per second. As I got it, it is mostly a client-side thing, so it is not much dependent on the number of users simultaneously betting.

I understand that there are too many bets on the site to show them all on the 'all bets' tab, and so some kind of thresholding is done, and some bets are filtered out.

But the 'high bets' tab is different. If you're going to list the 'high bets', you should list them all. Otherwise people get confused and suspicious:

20 -> 27
16 -> ~22 -> 16

So +3, +7, +0 = up 10 BTC in total there.

And on DiceBitco.in I'm up 17.6 on one account and 2.2 on another for a total of 19.8 BTC.

So yes I was pretty lucky but I took some stupid risks.

It turns out that reloading the page makes the missing high bets appear - unless they were for exactly 0.1 BTC, in which case it makes them disappear.

Bets of 0.10000001 will stay, so I guess there's a > in one place and a >= in another in the code.

I was 37 BTC up before that last streak, and ended up with a profit of exactly 10 BTC, which I have now withdrawn.

It certainly gave me an insight into how it feels to be on the other side of the dice site. The sense that "it doesn't matter if I lose because this is all profit" was strong.
