The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

I keep getting the following error when connecting to there pool :

'sgminer' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Ok set the full path to the file (something I have never had to do before) and now I get this error (Now I remember why I stopped mining, such a ballache with configs):

sgminer: -k: Invalid parameter to set_kernel

Currnet bat file reads as :

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
E:\Miners\Boomgpu\sgminer\sgminer -k x13mod -o stratum+tcp://boom2.suprnova.cc:8018 -u xxxx -p xxxx

Edit I followed the link on there site and downloaded what appeared to be the latest version of the miner :

https://mega.co.nz/#!uAp12DYa!vhfp1wDb43mB1KCo_5ZfwXehYhBXeKcVYWbmkTB2ldg (DRK + Q2C + QRK + MYR + FC + INK + ANI + GRS + SIC + TWE + MARU)

Try -k x13 without mod

Dowloaded another version of the software and it works Smiley

One thing, of the two pools listed in the announcement one uses X11 and the other X13, this says to me that they are mining coins and exchanging for Boom rather than mining boom directly?

Also does the mining period end on the 1st?

No the pools will have to recognize that pow has ended and shut the stratum Servers. I will Do that on suprnova once the last pow block has been found

Right going now, copied over a old sgminer config I used for BC and that works now with tweaks to the config.

Why cant mining be easy, one version of the software that works fine on my 290x refuses to start on my 270?

Ayhow dashboard says I can expect 0.32055728 estimated earnings, is this per day? if its that per day that is very low?

Dont trust the estimates, mine for 2 or 3 hours and sum that up to the day and this is what you get
