BitCrane Launches World's Most Powerful T-720 bitcoin miner In response to the ever-increasing difficulty level of bitcoin mining, BitCrane Technologies proudly presents T-720, the world’s most powerful bitcoin miner.
With a massive hashrate of 7.2 Th/s and in a form that can slide into a standard 19-inch server rack, the T-720 is designed for scaled mining from mid-sized mining operations to large data center deployments.Mega-Terahash Power and ControlNot only is it the world’s most powerful miner, the T-720’s control panel follows BitCrane’s acclaimed design for simplicity and ease-of-use.Dual-mode OperationThe T-720 miner gives you the option of using it in two modes: Turbo mode (7.2 Th/s, 7800W) for maximum hashing performance and Economy mode (5.4 Th/S, 4600 W) for enhanced power consumption.Rack–Mount Design (server-rack rail not included)The rack-mountable design of the T-720 allows it to conveniently fit into any standard 19-inch server rack by fitting it with standard server-rack rails, allowing you to slide it in/out of the racks with minimum effort during installation or maintenance.Multiple Form Factor PSU Support Dock (ATX/EPS 1U/2U)Further adding to its versatility, the T-720’s PSU docking design supports multiple form factor power supplies (ATX & EPS 1U/2U) and can house up to twelve power supply units per system.Liquid-cooled UltraHoist™ (Golden Nonce) ASIC Technology12 state-of-the-art UltraHoist™ (Golden Nonce) modules based on the 28nm silicon architecture are liquid-cooled using Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC™) technology to offer a stable and powerful hashrate. Dynamically controlled fans further control the temperature and energy-efficiency.The T-720 is priced at 4668USD For distributorship inquiries or quantity-based discounts, contact a BitCrane representative or email us at: sales@bitcrane.com

Interesting looking specs. When did you tape out and at what foundry? Temperature of sub 35c when operating? Do you have any video of the miners?
Edit: Missed the quantity of chips was already stated.

Does "rigorously tested and tuned at BitCrane’s testing labs" sound like "second hand" to anybody else? What's $1580 these days? About four S3 boxes which would be nearly double that speed and nearly half the power consumption per gh? Looks like they didn't skimp on VRM's (do I see 24 per chip?) but 500w per chip is a crap load of 0.7-0.8v to deliver: you are way behind in efficiency. 1w/GH @ 28nm ? no thanks.
Somebody got in there quick... 1w/gh is very poor for 28nm; why is performance so poor on a brand new line of hardware? How many chips per miner?
"hash rate of 550Gh/s per chip" this answer does not require complex mathematics. But tapeout who where when, temps (with water cooling) and vid would be good.

Looks like a nicely designed unit, I like the water cooling, just a shame the hash power isn't 2TH/s. Would still be nice to see a Dogie review of one of these?

1)www.bitcrane.com = 404 not found
2)1 watt a gh = loser unless btc price goes up over 1200
3) what is the price?
4) facebook address works
5) back to price if unit is in had and ships in a day or two in needs to be less then 3x s-3's right now 3x s-3's are 3x .68 btc = 2.04 btc
that is 1155 usd. and you need a psu the evga 1300 is 175 at amazon.
so 1330 usd gets you 3x 425gh = 1275 gh at 996 watts if you run the s-3's at freq 212.5
this gear is 1100th at 1100 watts
So if the s-3 setup is 1330 usd and can arrive in the usa in a week
this must arrive in a week and be under 1330 usd to compete.
That said looks nice I would love to have one of them.

Good luck with your new hardware announcement. Mining software: CGminer with web-based management interface
Cgminer is governed by the GPL version 3 license which means you are obliged by law to post the source to any modifications you have made to the code such as adding a driver for your hardware, so please post a link to your source code modifications. Thanks.

1. can we have video of miner working?
2. can we have price reduction since it will never ROI this way?
3. can we have power consumption lowered?
other then that, it looks like a great unit.

The case looks nice, I like the water cooling too.
What I don't like is that your site doesn't work. You should have made it ready before announcing here. I've heard of you guys a few weeks ago, but the lack of site discouraged me.

They are using two trademarks that they don't even own. Edit: The "radiators" in the pics of the outside of the case don't look like radiators to me.

a quick search on Google shows your business all over the place that a good thing now you showed a premium build product with water cooling, it is nice but not necessary. nice casing with power supply included.
To do list suggestion
1 chip system on open frame with fan no power supply priced at 0.6 btc and you become the "best in class"
The problem right now is you want to sell a bitcoin miner the same way computer business sell computers and that not the way to go
The nice looking stuff gamer buy it for showing off in their living room and on the net to prove they have the "best in class" computer system
IMO you have a too fancy product to compete with other miner out there

To be honest it looks like S2 in a different package.
Pretty thing to put on your desk, but nobody's buying these to show off. This would be a great competition to Bitmain for the same price, as it looks better and has better cooling, but you're at least 2 months late.

I get this for the site using safari: You are a mac user so your opinion is invalid; but that said would this even be a wise investment based on free power? At this point you could get a shipping container full of 132nm for that price?
