The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Google his username, you will find that he is a huge Ripple supporter: https://ripple.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4670

Scroll down and look at his signature, it's the same guy that the Ripple devs trusted.

Looks like Stellar just crumpled

This looks cool. Is it still mine-able or just better to buy on exchange?

You can get some for free by signing up in the website. Otherwise, you can also buy stellars from exchanges like Justcoin. It's not the kind of coin that you mine. It's supposed to be ripple 2.0, you wouldn't mine ripple either.

It is a "pos" coin, so coins can't be mined.

If you own BTC you will get Stellars for free!

By the way, for those wondering, for each BTC you hold, you will get about 1500 Stellars for free at the airdrop!

How is that figured - I mean how do they know how many btc you have? Or do you have to have it in a certain place (wallet/exchange)?

At the bar at the top, click deposit. Then on the left side click stellar.

There will be your deposit address.
