Are there any major differences between this and XRP?
Stellar is trying to be Ripple with the evil taken out, i.e. much better distribution, a democratic process with voting on the use of newly generated coins, and an emphasis on regular users and community projects (whereas Ripple's emphasis is firmly on integration with financial institutions like banks). Edit: Also run by a non-profit foundation rather than as a business. Very well stated. Given that the Ripple Protocol is impressive tech and much of the Ripple hatred is RL related - I have high hopes for this project. Found the same problem here: https://stellartalk.org/topic/7111-trying-to-withdraw-from-bittrex/I prefer Poloniex for stellar, never had any issue with them so far. Stellar has to find a way to distribute stellars though |

Cant transfer STR to my STR wallet. Probably it is because of my wallet balance (currently 0 while 20 is minimum).
Please help - how to transfer STR from the exchange to my wallet?

No its not due to your Balance, What message you receive when you transfer? First of all you can send PM to Support, I think there is Problem with you Account. Secondly you can make new account its Not difficult to create a new account with out any issue. |

No its not due to your Balance, What message you receive when you transfer? First of all you can send PM to Support, I think there is Problem with you Account. Yes, trying to transfer more than 20  Bittrex contacted me and said that there are problems with accounts with less than 20 balance that hadn't been ever used. They are looking at it. |

I haven’t paid attention to Stellar for a while, but the current price according to stellarvalue.org (is that still a recommended source for price?) puts it pretty damn close to the price it had when I bought my chunk of STR a long time ago.

Ya, same here. Lower actually. If they are giving them away there's not much chance of much of a price appreciation in the short term. But the general idea was to make Stella's available to everyone. Just as a intermediary tool of exchange rather than a thing of value. At least, that's the gist I got from their site. |

Problem solved. Couldn't transfer from Bittrex because my account was less than 20 balance and hadn't been ever used = inactive account. Good man helped me sending me 20 STR what activated my account and now transfers/deposits are working. |

Only existing once trade back and forth. Exchanges should be held responsible for the disaster in the making. |

Yeah they have a slack group which we discuss there about the new events New meets-up and the price disccusion, if you are a developer please join the #dev channel We are waiting to be launched a new protocol which we are optimistic that would increase the price of Stellar. |
