Keep in mind, ripple and stellar will have at max close to 100 billion in circulation. Even with the added 16 billion in June, Stellar will still have 10+ billion less circulating supply than ripple. Booming Stellar Launches Lightyear.io to Pique Partner Interest The distributed payments network Stellar has announced it will create a for-profit spin-off dedicated to helping big players integrate its software. The new project, dubbed Lightyear.io, will allow for growth of the Stellar ecosystem while allowing core progress to remain with the extant development team. “This is not just a business opportunity but also will greatly accelerate network adoption, increase the overall utility of the Stellar network and overall will be very positive for the ecosystem,” Stellar founder Jed McCaleb wrote in a blog post. MoreOk, this is good and I'm pro Stellar and hate to be a troll about this with the negative comment I'm going to make, but it was announced that stellar is giving away lumens to Bitcoin holders. Ok here's the Article ! https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@mallorcaman/second-round-stellar-lumen-give-away-for-bitcoin-holdersIt says there is a second round to the Stellar give away ! They will be giving away Lumens on June 27, 2017 They wil offer 16% of lumens up to 16billion to Bitcoin owners whom claim it on thier claim page June 27, 2017.

Thanks, I totally agree, and in June it may even be less than 16%.
Also, it will still be alot less then ripple's current supply of 39.4 billion, and ripples at .31 cents it's getting over crowded at the moment.

Stellars going to 10 cents !Stellar can easily shoot up to 10 cents in the next few days and even surpass ripple in the next few weeks. According to the article, Stellar will allow banks to connect to remittance companies using payment platforms. Stellar has decided to start courting banks like ripple does through the spin off (lightyear.io) https://www.paymentssource.com/news/this-cryptocurrency-project-is-now-courting-banks

$0.1 anytime soon. It will get to 6 and 7 seven first ! but has huge potential to get close to sixty or seventy cents in the next month in a half for several reasons. One Ripple is overcrowded. Does anyone really expect ripple to get a thirty nine billion market cap any time soon. A thirty nine billion dollar market cap in ripple would mean all of the money in Bitcoin would go into ripple. I just don't see this possible in the near future. Second, It looks like people are moving from Lite coin into Stellar. The other Alt coins are starting to stagnate, so people are looking for new opportunities. Third, The growth in stellar is coming from countries with banking needs. People are truly adopting stellar because there is a need for it. So I see stellar soon surpassing litecoin and the other Altcoins moving up to 4th place.

It's old news, but just for your information: http://www.coindesk.com/ripple-jed-mccaleb-settle-suit-over-1-million-in-disputed-funds/ As part of the settlement, McCaleb has sold his equity in Ripple, and has agreed to sale controls on 5.3bn XRP owned by him and his children. An additional 2bn XRP will be donated to an as-yet-undisclosed charitable fund.
The sale controls are tied to daily volume in XRP markets. For the first year, according to Ripple, McCaleb will be unable to sell more than 0.5% of average daily volume "for each day of the week, including weekends and holidays".
During the second and third years of the agreement, this amount grows to 0.75%, while it accounts for 1.0% in the fourth year. Beyond the fourth year, the amount is set to 1.5%.
The current price of of Ripple is 40 cents. Do I have to count out for you how rich the founder of Stellar is?

That makes family Jed multibillionaires atm... not bad . Let's forget that he probably also gave himself a fair share of Lumens . I dont know who's the big shot in crypto now... Vitalik or Jed. I think it's Jed.

I think it's Jed. Jeff McCaleb will probally buy 2 billion dollars worth of lumens and lock them down. A much better strategy then ripple !
When this information gets out its going to be big ! If he offers a buy back plus a Lockdown were going interstellar !
