I don't think so, even ETH will drop, BTC will always be the king.

If ripple went to nearly $0.40 then Stellar will have glide to that without any problems.

If anyone missed the recent news!!

Is XLM and STR same ?

That's also what I want to know.

Same coin.

Similar name but different symbol, also STR is only on Polo and it appears as XLM on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stellar/#BTC

Heck on that page even when you click on the XLM/BTC pair on the poloniex line, it links to polo's STR page.

Lots of unnecessary confusion on XLM and STR, ie: Stellar Lumens and Stellar on Polo.

Polo should just rename STR to XLM to avoid confusion since XLM is the official symbol: https://www.stellar.org/lumens/

Btw, Op created a new thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1428573.0

Many people are going to make easy money if Stellar drops to 200m in market cap. Including myself.
It looks like it will hit it within 72 hours...The dumping is not over.
(just my opinion)

Everything is racing to the moon right now. Great great sign and I like this. I still expect some dumps or at least a few on Stellar in few days due to the coming distribution. But overall this should be bullish unless another big Bitcoin rally comes which  is also very possible.

Hey! We realized there were some issues with your previous invite, so we're sending you another chance! We will give you 500 Lumens to try our payments platform. It will only take you 15 seconds. Claim them here. For real, this time.

You still have to verify your location through facebook and it has the same exact problem as the last time...

"You must grant all permissions required by the app."

Lots of people had this issue:
https://www.mystellar.org/thread-1588.html

No fix...

How the hell do you deposit to the stellar wallet?? I only see a message "please create the trust line first". What does that even mean?

Stellar copied Ripple's implementation of arbitrary assets. For a system that supports arbitrary assets, you have two fundamental choices:

1) Make some way for people to keep track of all the assets they might hold, including worthless ones. You can let anyone pay anyone else anything, but the recipient might consider the asset worthless.

2) Only allow people to send others assets they've agreed to accept. But if you send someone an asset, they must consider it a payment.

Ripple chose the second option, and Stellar copied our code. So they also work this way.

So you must agree to accept (with a transaction on the ledger) any asset (other than the native asset) before it can be sent to you. I would assume Stellar wallets make this reasonably easy to do as Ripple wallets do.

Creating a trust line is analogous to opening a bank account. If you open a bank account and you tell people to pay you by depositing into your bank account, you are trusting that bank to hold your money for you and agreeing that if people make your bank owe you money, you consider them to have paid you.
