I met a Dutch girl with inflatable shoes last week, phoned her up to arrange a date but unfortunately she’d popped her clogs.

I went down the local supermarket, I said, ”I want to make a complaint, this vinegar’s got lumps in it”, he said, “Those are pickled onions”.

delay 24hrs and don't make it an semi ninja.

fuck that. people paid good money for the launch. 24 hours would be slapping all those people in the face as most rig rentals are 24 hours. Fix asap so we can get what we can. It's not a ninja launch if it sits on altcoincalendar with a countdown.

u pay my rental costs, and sure delay it. otherwise hush.

Honestly, this delay is fair.  Also, if you rent a rig, this serves you right.  This is why its better to have your own equipment.  Also, if tactics like this keep rentals away, then we should start doing them more often for launch.  Just as long as its not ninja and its a fair launch (minus rental rig fairness Wink )

lmfao there is nothing unfair about renting rigs, and actually is a good thing.  Trust me, ive had thousands of dollars worth of rigs. Also, not everyone is capable of having rigs on their own which renting allows them to get in on the action.  Electricity is a big expense and steady mining no longer makes money, you can generally only make money on launches and renting rigs is a good option for it.

So basically because some people don't have the money to buy the equipment and have to opt for rentals, your saying its unfair? Are you deluded or just born on the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down?

Hey now, no need for being mean.  No, I just think it goes against decentralization.  I think it puts more hash power in fewer hands, which I generally would like to reverse.  I guess I ruffled some feathers with that comment.  I also don't agree with you on profitability.  I guess its a purely subjective topic we are discussing at the moment.  I do make money mining on a few cards (Cannabiscoin for the moment), but its not "big" money, although the point of my mining is not to make a bunch of money.  It is rather to reup my investment funds and daytrade the proceeds.  Its a slow process for sure.  But I never took shortcuts and I'm not about to spend real money other than video cards.  I don't pay my electric and electricity in Quebec isn't that expensive compared to some parts of the US.

I would suggest the coin gets delayed a week, most Brits are going to sleep now and it would be unfair for US/Canadian miners to get the majority of Sterling coins.

OK as decided in IRC.

We will announce 15 minutes before each hour if we are launching on the hour.

Next announcement if not fixed before will be 23.45 GMT

The coin is not the issue.

This is a pool related issue.

I think it's time to stop now.
