You should learn to earn coins during those dumps :-)

Yesterday I earned 200 coins just by doing one sell and one buy :-)

I don't like pump and dumps as I prefer more stable markets but in a same time it is a possibility to  multiple your coins :-)

And mightn't you have any suggestions about the best way to go about learning to do that?

Read some books on technical analysis to understand the concepts. Most of the things you learn apply very loosely to crypto markets though because of how much manipulation goes on in altcoins (also due to the very low volumes). Most TA tools are more used for stocks and securities with high volumes, where markets are not as volatile.

I wouldn't waste your time learning TA if you are only trading crypto.  It doesn't apply at all to 99% of alt-coins and you don't need to know TA if you want to be a market maker in a coin by playing the bid/ask spread. One can argue that most TA indicators are horse shit and don't apply to any markets.  IMO, TA is probably most useful in high volume non cash flow products like fiat currencies and commodities futures.  I'm not a big fan for using TA exclusively for stocks, but we don't have to get into that in this thread.

TA is pointless on alts.  Prices are driven almost entirely by external forces, and even if they weren't, there's not nearly enough data for meaningful TA.  Maybe on BTC, barely, but not on any alt.

I said 99% because you can argue for LTC/BTC and maybe 1 or 2 others. I do agree with you that it's barely applicable to any crypto.

I don't get why so many coins were dumped during last hours ....

I placed my bid @3600 and it is gone ...

Lower bids (down to @3100) were gone too.

Many sells, less buys ...

Where is the volume from last Friday? Will we see anything like what we saw during last Friday again?

This is the longest the dev has gone without posting since launch. He does have a reputation for abandoning coins.  I'm glad I only bought 1 btc worth.  I'm just about done with buying any alt-coins with the exception of BitsharesX and XCurrency.

Stop being such a shill.  Just about all alt-coins are failing, even the ones that seemed like legit projects.  Just look at Cloak.  I'm not saying to bail yet just to be cautious.  This dev has already bailed on 2 other projects so for you to act like it's not even an issue that he hasn't posted that much lately is completely asinine on your part.

Look at the legit projects such as Bitshares or XC.  The devs baby the threads and if they can't there are others on the team that stay all over it. Dan Larimer and Dan Metcalf are way busier than this dev and they find time to post in the threads constantly.  I guess your name has to be Dan or you have no shot at being a good developer.

I was just being facetious, I do not take alts very seriously and only buy what I expect to lose. I do appreciate being called a shill only because its such a cool word and not used often enough. In regards to being asinine I have been called worse things in my life, but I am far from being a fool. I hope this coin works out for you and if not I am deeply sorry for your loss. Smiley

Yes, I only buy what I expect to lose too and my loses don't matter to me.  I care more about flushing the scammers out of crypto and if that means I have to troll every thread I believe is a scam then I will.  This one isn't a scam........................................................................... ...........yet.

I'm not talking about your trading ability. I made 1000% in NRS so why don't you go buy that gem of a project?  Exactly!

Long term in addition to the Dev being active, we need more people holding the coin and less flipping.

Hey guys. Even though I might not be posting updates every day I am still working on a few very unique features. All I can say is that it has to do with mobile and Tor. Also the wallet update will come on the 25th as promised so stay tuned. This coin WILL see big volume once I am done with the secret feature.

I am staying quiet about it so it will have a bigger effect on the coin including media attention and such. I am still here so anybquestions do not hesitate to PM me.

Hey!

Thanks for the news!

Everything what you are saying sound very promising.

Can you tell us how it was on a Bitcoin meetup? Have you told to anyone about BlackToken? Anyone was interested?

Cheers.

do you have any PR plans / people going to manage the PR?

I think a great coin with unique features is a great basement to go back to. But if there is nobody managing and hyping a coin it will nerver get even close to all the worthless copy pasta coins which are actually getting attention why so ever.

PR is currently almost more important then the actual coin as it seems.

Trade:   Forex (€/$...) - Stocks(Apple, Google..) - Commodities(Gold, Oil...) and Indices(S&P 500, Dax...)
All with BTCitcoin only -----   https://1broker.com ----- up to 200x Leverage & since 2012 ---

+1

I think a team will soon be needed to help manage the front end stuff while the dev is working on the technical background.

I could see about asking around and talking to a few people, maybe try to get BLKT on Poloniex or Mintpal once we roll out a "big" update (perhaps the secret feature? Tongue)

Great to get the update from you! I understand how busy you must be but as some of the other guys mentioned, it really seems to pay great dividends to have some sort of help with PR. Even if its only one other person monitoring twitter, IRC and BCT that can be in "semi" constant contact with you that can keep you informed and hit you up with quick questions if need be to be your voice and mitigate the FUD. I know its a pain in the ass, but that just seems to be the current environment that we are currently trading in.

You have a good talent for coin development, but its pretty tough for one man to do it all. Do you have anyone to help out with things like business development? Something kinda new (at least to me) that a couple of other coins are doing that I feel might also help BlackToken both wedge its way into "real" world use and prove long term intent and project validation, is a deal with one of those pre-pay cards... (see following links)

http://www.payprocoin.com/visa/
http://vericoinnews.info/latest-news/introducing-the-vericard/

I know that VISA seems "passe" to the crypto crowd, but I think its a heck of a good platform for marketing (here in cryptospace AND for getting the BlackToken name out in the real world), as well as for generating trade volume if you have to buy BlackToken coins to load up the card. Something I hope that you might consider. I don't know how much more dev work would be involved or if maybe you could farm it out to another coder while you keep on with the core stuff, but I do know that we should be doing everything possible to promote the coin and the fact that you are seriously invested and intend to see this project through to fruition. Something tangible as one of those cards might help to do that.

Just a couple of thoughts
