Just a question, a have all my coins on another address for staking, when do you recommend to transfer them to PoI address? Can I wait some days more or better to do it now?

Sorry for a noob question, Just wondering, i've came across PoS and PoM but not PoI. It would be great if somebody could tell me what is a PoI address and how can I create one? Assuming that this is this something different to staking in a wallet through Magi-qt of course?

Thanks =)

looks like there are some big botnets mining this or someone has made an fpga or gpu miner for this coin

Anyone can use the other's processor. There's no way to stop it. But at least it prevents a lot of people from using big botnets.

Well botnets are often CPU prone rather than GPU prone; as GPU use different settings it would be hard to get a config that works on most zombie computers. I know that there are some GPU botnets but CPU botnets a far more likely.

By the way thanks for helping us solve some blocks, we really appreciate!

Indeed, but also GPU botnet mining with Scrypt is very extended. Default configs are almost always working and getting users that have GPU increase the posibilities.

However, CPU mining is easier, because only high end processors are checked.

No worries amigo. There might be another Proof of Interest campaign coming. I will meet the anonymous donator this weekend and I think Magi achieved some awesome developments lately.
So maybe hè will donate again! Smiley
If hè does than for sure there will be another Proof of Interest campaign.

Maybe it's the newbiest question on this thread, so sorry if it's stupid but what is a botnet ? You are talking about this like if it was a big problem but I never heard of it, so what is it ?

Botnet mining is a network of "hacked" computers (like zombies) working for you. This is happening with Bitcoin and Litecoin, where many people build a big network to mine for them. Magi is a nice example of forbidding botnets, because of hashrate limitation.

Thank you for your explanation, now it's more clear for me  Wink ! That's sure that it can't work on Magi thanks to our amazing improvements !

I think they are still running under Beta.
Try to contact them and ask if they can give more info.

It's always risky especially if they are still under BETA. I would use it but with extreme caution!
