SSVCoin has been launched some time ago as a coin using X13 hashing algorithm with transparent block reward. Block formula is easy to interpretate and understand to make mining as fair as possible. X13 is green too, because it's up to 35% more energy efficient than scrypt and it keeps your GPUs cooler.
Coin supposed to be countermeasure for high amount of POW+POS coins in which POW last for a few days then it converts to pure POS. In that way price of coin cannot be ensured by network hash power and can be easy dumped to the low values.
Coin has been abandoned by original Dev (old topic:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=661043.0), but with new team we hope to bring coin to life, give it new features, regain trust of the community and ensure high survivability among choppy altcoins world.
