the first one couldn't have worked out much better in my mind
Apart from saying "backslash" when she meant "forward slash", but we can live with that!

I thought this was a bad idea at first because you’ll get downvoted, but I actually like the idea of internet prostitutes now.

She blew me away.. I had no idea she was going to drop a name like bitmit and play everything up like that. She took the initiative to learn what she could about Bitcion in a short time and wrap it all up in a pretty little package. I just asked for a tutorial on how to "play the game" and she did the rest. Amazing, smart girl.

Even if you don't care about Reddit people should drop her a donation. We need Bitcoin to expand beyond miner computer nerds (no offense intended). She is about as far from a miner computer nerd as I can imagine. It will take 1000 people just like her in every aspect of commerce to move Bitcoin into the mainstream.
Her video & guide is awesome. You couldn't have done a better job using an ad agency and paying 1000 BTC. Let me clarify that yes the ad agency tutorial would be more professional but it also would come across as an ad. The informal nature of the video and guide is worth way more.
Getting the name Bitcoin out there EVERYWHERE builds MINDSHARE. When potential users see Bitcoin on reddit girls, on wikileaks donation page, on CNBC, in an academic paper, at CES, at Steam, etc without someone trying to sell it to them it builds credibility vs "DUDE YOU GOT TO GET THE COINZ YOU CAN MAKE TONS OF FREE MONEY ON YOUR COMPUTER THESE THINGS ARE GOING TO $100 BY DEC".
I dropped her some coins and anyone who values Bitcoin becoming more mainstream should too. It sucks she got downright attacked on r/GoneWild though. Well nobody said being an early adopter is easy.

I really like FirstBits... but it's fatal flaw, especially with regard to newcomers, is the requirement that the address exists in the blockchain. If there is anyway to overcome this, PLEASE make it happen. Also, the ease of making a QR code by appending /qr is a killer feature of btc.to. If this can be replicated, this needs to happen too.
But this endeavour, at least while people are still learning *everything* about Bitcoin, the firehose of information needs to be turned down a bit so the noobs are not overwhelmed.
edit: I'm not advising girls to NOT use first bits... but they can adopt this after they've picked up the basics. For /r/girlsgonebitcoin though, I think it's in our best interest to promote btc.to until they get firstbits on their own.
There is a solution, not that hard! Just need an instawallet clone that sends a satoshi (using SendMany for low fees) to addresses in advance of giving them out. why not tell them to use the bitcoin faucet once? thats easy enough. agree with DeathAndTaxes, Im sending her some coin now.

I think she's also miner nerd material to be honest. Smart person, just happens to be a sexy girl too. Donated already and I'm considering a second donation now... she seems to be moving BTC around just fine too.

An ad agency might have tried to to exactly that and would've very likely failed miserably

either that, or behind the cam is her nerd-boyfriend with bitcoins in his eyes. I'm flattered by your subtle inference, but as a nerd, and someone who has already fantasized about what it would be like to be her boyfriend, I wouldn't know the first thing to do with "all that". 8|

Lets not forget we have a bounty to entice 9 more girls to this endeavour. The press will be unmeasurable and who knows what other "tutorial" or other interesting videos we can get out of this...
I can see a girl making a killing by doing all kinds of bitcoin tutorial videos, sexy or not, bring bitcoin into the mainstream all by itself.
Lets keep up the donations to the GirlsGoneBitcoin bounty and see what else these awesome ladies can bring to the table.

Edit: you're automatically donating to LadyBytes by contributing to the bounty since her video was first, she gets 50% of the total bounty - whatever it is when the 10th girl posts her naughty bits. The higher the bounty, the more likely other girls will jump in to be in the first 10.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with what she put together, in what seems to have been a pretty short amount of time. Clearly pretty comfortable in front of the camera.
