could be the price is dropping because the wallet was fixed with a band-aid patch which enables staking but the blocktimes and the numbers surrounding staking are completely broken.  Can we get an acknowledgement of this issue and a timeline? I dont care if it comes monday with the new wallet but the numbers need to be changed even if it takes a few more tries so we can get to a normal time between blocks, and so stake does nto use up your whole balance and make it unavailable for 200 blocks

can't you choose what amount you want to stake with just like every other POS coin.

yeah im sure you could through the conf file. reservebalance=whatever
fact is i moved 3 transactions into a wallet under different addresses on Tuesday night. Each one staked its entire balance (I would have expected it to break up the transaction and stake a little at a time) after the blockchain patch Wednesday night, and the stake is still awaiting confirm on this friday morning, 99/110 confirms. (should have been confirmed Wednesday night) Maybe ill split everything up into a TON of transactions. that could speed it up for the next round

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

Yes, you can split transactions, you can use 1 adress, not need 3 or more different, 1 is enough. Then, like if you have your XDE in bittrex, that's good, if not, well probably you will need to deposit here and then withdraw, so coin age will be refreshed and etc. So anyway, just withdraw your XDE from bittrex to your pc wallet by 1/10th of your balance at a time and it will be enough for speeding staking up w/o locking all balance for long time.

Let's make a change. Change makes you better. Change makes you smarter. Change makes you healthier.

Can anyone tell me what is happening with the wallet? Some blocks were still unconfirmed for 2 days.

it didnt start staking when POW ended, so they made a fix, but their numbers must be off or theres not enough stakers because since POW ended there has only been 105 blocks solved (should be 1440 daily)

If I remember correctly, in POS stage, the same like in POW stage, there still can be made orphaned blocks which are not counted as real.

Yes, that could be because like maybe 50% of coins are in bittrex exchange and others are still not updated their wallet.

its even easier than that.  It's under options in the wallet you can choose how much coin you want to not be involved in the staking process.  If you dont want to mess with the config.

Another x11, but why?

Hello!

Because it's the most gpu-friendly algorithm, it doesn't consume a lot of energy.

oHHH ...

Fast POW X11 + POS with garbage low count  .... humpy and dumpy ...

ITS MY FAV !! count me in

To tell you the truth, almost every miner will sell as soon as they can to make a profit. It doesn't matter which algorithm, or any other thing.

For example, I was mining CrystalCoin (X15), which seemed really good. But still everyone dumped and the price crashed.

All this is why I am Phasing out of the Crypto World, there is only hope with BTC every other Coin/Dev just says all these thing's to get the next Sheep/Idiots to invest in their new Crypto so they can cash in, then all the retard bagholders on Twitter that think they are money making machines start talking it up saying it's the next big thing, just so they can raise the price then dump on all the Followers....

Seriously I've watched the markets for sometime now, new coins constantly released, IPO & Pre investments, same devs making new coins after their own crashes (especially for other people for a payment in BTC)

The Cryptoworld has just gone to complete Sh!t, the only hope it has left pretty much is Bitcoin with the exception of Litecoin since it was the 2nd crypto to make it big and mainstream + a different Algorithm, Although I have to give credit where credit is due and Darkcoin made Litecoin seem obsolete for a time but DRK shows some Promises with the anonymous features & another different Algorithm (TOR has recently been proven to be vulnerable so it's basically pointless making a coin based off that so don't fall for that hype)

All in all I won't stop mining a newly released coin just so I can cash in just like the others will as soon as it hits an exchange and money is being fronted by the gullibles.

I wish everyone Luck in this Soul Snatching, Dog eat Dog Realm of Cryptocurrency !

(BTW I know it's Ironic coming from a Fella that created his own coin for MMORPG/Nostalgic use just for others to pump and dump the crap out of it & be done with it before letting it have it's time with its Proposed uses)

I dont care if the whole thing stakes or just some, Im saying broken up into smaller transactions cause more stakable events. I really just want the blocktime to be closer to what was proposed on the announce.

C'mon ppl because things are slow doesn't mean we are being Scammed.
Please read the OP and the other Posts from Dev.
The New Wallet will distributed to testers on Sunday and I volunteer to test it and on Monday
the Wallet will be available to the Public.
So far we haven't seen any Big Dumps which could trigger an alarm. All the Dumps are from Free Coins and some Big Farms.
