http://www.dogeparty.io/

Bitcoin-based Counterparty is a fantastic system for serious crypto-finance, but for smaller value transactions, when it comes to placing orders, creating assets, and generally taking care of business DOGE brings some great advantages to the party:

  • 10x faster
  • 100x cheaper

Repo here:

https://github.com/Dogeparty

Please note that the bitcointalk user 'dogeparty' is a name squatter who is not affiliated with this project.

Does one need both Dogecoin-qt with the blockchain synced and Dogewallet to burn, or can we just install Dogewallet, send doges from an exchange to it and burn? Dogewallet will have its own blockchain?

Uses the existing Dogeparty blockchain. Don't use existing wallets, it's just way messier. We'll provide a wallet that supports XDP and the assets (a fork of Counterwallet). All is told on dogeparty.io.

In other words, it's ok to send directly from an exchange like bter to Dogewallet? Smiley

I'm looking really forward to this new coin and I'd love to see how /r/dogecoin adopts it.

Cool! I am not that tech savvy. Do technical experienced users have an advantage through compiling the github wallet? Or can everyone start after you release the client? How long will 1.5 last?

Will I need to have the entire dogecoin blockchain synced onto my PC? I recently uninstalled Dogecoin core and installed multidoge so I hope that won't be a problem.

Will there be a webwallet like counterparty's webwallet?

Yes exactly like Counterparty's wallet.

The DOGE-TESTNET version is here for example:

Countdown at 00:00:00 but 23 more blocks to go before start... See here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2dfgqn/dogeparty_burn_start_block_estimated_start_time/

EDIT: Dogecoin network is a bit slower than usual today, so our calculations appear to be about ~20 minutes off.

Time is fine.

wallet.dogeparty.io, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

Why didn't they set this up correctly?
