Bummer. Was really stoked on this coin. Gonna sit on sidelines for a while and see what develops. Maybe after all the excitement over LXC dies down some BTC will make it's way back. GL to everyone.

Since the new (awesome) devs is from PiggyCoin and ZimStakes took over we get to see new technology brought to RawCoin

I tried to gather up everyone's ideas from twitter and BCT so we all know where we stand.

The RawCoin Team

@RawCoins - the previous PiggyCoin Dev
@cryptoGIR - the previous ZimStakes Dev
‏@BAMM_Coins - founder of B.A,M. Mining - http://www.bammine.com

In development:
1. Easy Send (In Beta)-  Now you can share your nickname with your friends and they will have immediate access to your address as well! The possibilities are endless. EasySend will be eventually integrated with wallets, making big, clumsy RawCoin addresses a thing of the past.
    - Confirmed completed by dev - https://twitter.com/Artiom29/status/504376642782105600
    - Beta: http://www.rawcoin.info/easysendbeta.html
    - About EasySend - http://www.piggy-coin.com/easysend-official-announcement

2.  RAW Club with mining shares program - When you hold and stake RAW for X amount of days you will be eligible for to receive dividends from BAMM mining shares. See this post for more details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic ... msg8475576

    - Join: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737790.msg8549711#msg8549711
    - Green Paper ANN - https://twitter.com/BAMM_Coins/status/505055660820946944 -
    - Green Paper: http://t.co/qnnix6x0uZ
    - BAM MiningNews: http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/bammining-interview-allen-scrypt-mining-startup/2014/04/11
    - Mining shares: https://cryptostocks.com/securities/114
    - BAM Mining - http://www.bammine.com

3. RawCoin Foundation - the dev has hinted at foundation. Once more information is available I will post it here.

4. (not confirmed) Multi pool - It's always a plus it keep buying up all that sweet extra RAW sitting in the exchange
     - https://twitter.com/RawCoins/status/502444514217586688

5. "A big surprise" - @RawCoins
     - https://twitter.com/RawCoins/status/504674244757061633

Updated list of ideas (in no specific order):

1. RAW CRYPTOWARE : Clothing for Crypto (evtrmm)

2. Faucet built into the wallet where you can donate or request free RAW

3. Add sponsors to the wallet - sponsors can pay RAW to have their AD's on the wallet.  Users can disable AD's for a small RAW fee

4. FREE transaction Mondays - send RAW for free on Monday night RAW!!!

5. Paper wallet built into the RawCoin wallet

6. IRC in the wallet via kiwiirc https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/?nick=user|?#rawcoin

7. SMS wallet service like cloakcoin

8. Android based wallet where you can stake coins like the Librexcoin wallet

9. P2P trading of RAW with other currencies like bitstar - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=748045.msg8448472#msg8448472

10. Build a simple classified ad system where people can post to do random jobs for RAW.

11. RAW Stability Fund (like sync) - alt coins are donated to the foundation and the foundation will sell the alt coins for RAW.   The fund should hold and stake around 5% of RAW to insure network speeds.

Don't forget to check twitter and IRC for latest updates

I love all the ideas, but it seems that we need more community participation to make this work and grow.  For all the Twitter hype, I am very surprised at the lack of attention that this thread gets.

As I said in the Club RAW paper, community is the most important thing when it comes to Crypto survivability.

I know its funny it's the "idea" that people find value in.

I will keep posting my tweet about Club RAW on twitter.

I don't think Piggy got bailed on. The specs were poor and concept less than awesome. "473,490,056 PIGGYs are currently in circulation"... I think this amount of coin in circulation is why the value is low for PIGGY, that and it's themed after "penny banks", not dollar banks.  Change the name to HOG and cut the supply by 470,000,000 and you may get somewhere with that one Smiley

"PoW + PoS Hybrid until block 10,000
1020 Coins per PoW block
PoW ends at block 10,000"

So: 1020 coins per block and PoW had 10,000 blocks.

If you do a quick math you will see that this is equal to 10.200.000 supply.

Do you guys wanna address where is this supposed 5 MIL coins?

Cause no way the supply is 5 MIL.

If anyone want to check it just go check for yourselfs...

Probably you guys are just hiding it huh?

Anyway there's 5 MIL supply out there somewhere that can be dumped any time

Also this:

20 coins per PoW (Not POS) block go to the foundation wallet to pay for bounties

So they have 200k coins somewhere from a hidden "premine"
Also they never paid any bounty

POS blocks count as a normal block the actual total coin supply on a hybrid POS/POW is is unknown until the last PoW block is mined

Not they don't. You just don't understand how hybrid PoS + PoW works.
Blackcoin for example had PoW max height 10 000 and block reward 10 000, but there is only about 75 000 000 Blackcoins. Do you think blackcoin guys hid ~25 000 000 BC?
