Hi,
had a quite laggy conversation with J4bber and then send the Funds to him, but did not hear back from him. Has anyone lately recieved Breakout Boards from him?
Sorry, I'm too busy at the moment. Your board have been shipped with a faster shipping to compensate the 2 days delay, and I sent you the Fedex tracking number in private message. Got the Shipping Number, but Shipping with Fedex Economy to Germany is a Risky Business... looks like i will wait 2 Weeks for that Package.

There is something really wrong with them, they stated 24-48h delivery. 48h is usually the time needed to deliver to the US once the package is collected.

I also did not have those problems with Fedex. Last time J4bberwock shipped with Fedex to me (also Germany) it did not take more than 2-3 days.

i called them and after they re-routed the Packet to a diffrent agent, I got it deliverd finaly. (The Problem with Fedex in Germany is usually that they have only in cologne their own HUB, everything else is operated via Agent.) I made quite good expierience with french Post, since they work in Germany together with DHL which is the Number one Delivery Carrier in Germany.

I need two of your 2880 watt breakout boards, and around 40 of your high quality extra long pci-e cables
Need to price that cost vs buying new psus that would come with cables since I have two spare 2880 psus witoute power cables I bought when I thought my breakout boards were bad.
I could also use the long 3 prong power cables you sell as well
Thanks

This is the first time i try to buy something from J4bberwock. Haven't gotten a reply in a few days. Is this is a normal waiting time when requesting to buy some cables here? I'm not in a super big rush but if its not possible to fill my request, i'll have to try to find another place to get long 18 pins cables, hmm...

He's a very busy man. He also has a LOT going on right now. I've had to send him a PM and an email and get a reply the next day or two. Once he replies and tells you he is going to do something, he does it. Try shooting him a PM again. He may respond soon. I'm not sure about posting his email in the thread. I would do it if I had his permission but I don't.

Regarding the S5 data cables, I should get them in stock just after the chinese national holiday. I believe I wrote it in the thread about the S5+/S7 controller a few days ago. Also, I won't take new boards orders until the end of this week.

this and the result after 5 months of operation 24/24. miner connected s1, s3 sometimes connected the gblade ... but never worked above 70% of the power supply. so far below its current maximum. I do not say that the system is not intelligent. on the contrary. and so very comfortable. the power supply and produces very powerful and very hot. especially if you live in a place of summer the ambient temperature reaches 33 degrees. the power invests its flow of heat directly to the base that already his view the huge and warm current that delivers this power supply. oe 'defective strip or not' suitable to support the current 24/24 of its outputs pcie. among other things even used them all. now every month I have to move outlets pcie that continually cook .. including after pcie cable that takes the burned derived from pcie panel. the base and hot can not last much used 24/24. For me two things. the base and defective, or does not fit the place where it is mounted in front of the outlet opening of the hot air of power. If I received the answer I would like the shipment of the new base as I was told .. thanks. one month the card and to throw so including cables ...

ah I do not know. I have not seen anyone use this card. usually they solder wires directly on the output contacts. I was told that I shipped back another card, but is not responding
the base and 'always very hot, is hit by 24/24 air produced by power supply. brakes for me a little of the air power. and 'the power most powerful I've ever seen. noisy as a turbine but powerful.

This has happened to me on other boards and was usually the wiring I used, I noticed the main source of the heat on my failed boards mostly off of DPS power supplies was where the wire was crimped to the pin. This seemed to be the source of heat and melted the connector's and wire. I am not sure if this is your same issue or not. What did the wires plugged into those look like?

Issues like this are usually traced to the pins in the cables PCIE connectors. For high current applications like mining you need to use Molex 45750 series pins. You should also make sure the wires are 16AWG and have copper conductors. A properly constructed 6 pin cable with these components should be able to handle up to 300-400 watts without getting hot.
