Goodnight coin paid back but is VERY sketchy, he tried to trick me into giving him another loan under a different account and tried to get me to give him coins, i think the only reason he me back was because I did some research and had his name, address, phone number and everything. I knew he was a bad loan to give out but it was good experience and HE DID pay back but I would NOT recommend giving him a loan.

What is the other account? Did he actually day that it was his other account?

the other account of mine is furrydog@mailinator.com and i didnt deny that it wasnt mine.

Need someone to hold the ledger fort for a fortnight or so or I'll temporarily discontinue it.

Unfortunately my internet access is really bad right now given the fact I'm looking after a very sick relative, however, if you're trustworthy I'll be more than happy to give you my account details for this account to keep updating the ledger. I assume no-one will want to, but I'll put it out there. Please no PMs from randoms.

Very sorry to hear about your situation, i would be willing to help keep the thread going with updates but i don't really want to take over your account.
I don't know him so can't vouch for him but BitRent already offered to help in the 1st page, maybe contact him if you trust him.
Anything else you need help with just ask.

Yep it's not a great situation. To be fair there is no reason why someone can't just copy and paste my first post or I could send them the code to make it quicker (if that would make t quicker?)

If the code would let just one person alter the ledger without putting your account at any risk it should be ok.
If you were to give out the code just make sure to do a good forum background check to make sure that person is trustworthy and not a potential scamner.
Copy and paste would also work ok for a short time basis

An easier way to keep on top of every loan would be to have a registed list of lenders that update youself with the status of their new and outstanding loans, you could maybe charge 0.003 btc or so for you work.

Also I didnt see danks name on the list, do u know what happening with him? Im sure the loan of his is still outstanding and will probably remain that way.

Both of these suggestions are terrible ideas. If OP was to start charging lenders, no one will want to use it. If this thread has helped, there is a donation address, and it's to a good cause. That's much more fitting than forcing a fee. Besides, how will this fee system be implemented and enforced?

And what's the point of having Dank on there? Will it help anyone avoid loaning to him, as if he isn't already marked a scammer?

I guess i was sugesting that it be an optional fee with those that pay such a little fee be rewarded with updates from quarantinedmoon on potenial scammers, when certain loans are due, background info, ect.
Donation address is one thing but u know not many people pay for what they can get for free.

As for Dank, not everybody knows his history here and always better to be safe that sorry. The loan IS still outstanding anyway and thats what this thread is about.

I can't see a donation address anyways?

Agreed that OP should be rewarded in some way, but to be honest it appears he doesn't want to be.

Great thread though keep the updates coming!
