The topic says it all pretty much. What is the best SHA-256 miner to use in large operations? For example: a cloud mining service.

SP30 is a decent product, but Bitmain S3 is far cheaper with bitcoin prices at a low right now. The S3s would only cost about $3k when the SP30 costs about $4k. |

Well that was an informative post. What is he/she wants to acquire freshly minted coins or wants to help decentralize the network. Buying coins on an exchange won't help that. I post all the time telling new people to forget about getting into mining. Somebody who is buying rack mounted equipment already knows what he/she is doing (hopefully). As Dogie said whatever is the cheapest rack mounted equipment. |

Bitmain model - S3+ its the only available in about 1 month from now others are more expensive and will be available October and talking about SP30
loved to have some but so expensive so have to drive a lada and take the S3 in exchange
Dont waste your money elsewhere for the moment
Suggestions from company appointed users sould be avoided as make the advertisment look cheep

I don't think it is. I'm pretty sure that when SP first came on the scene, that was the URL they provided. Also, the URL you can use to detect the SP gear on your network is myminer.io. |

I don't think it is. I'm pretty sure that when SP first came on the scene, that was the URL they provided. Also, the URL you can use to detect the SP gear on your network is myminer.io. It's not a referral link. It's an official link. |

Their next gen hardware (guessing bitfury next gen chips) is now almost complete which they claim will be 0.5 w/gh at the wall. |

I'm not sure you have a clue what you're talking about. Free hardware = good deal. Who cares if they take 50% of the revenue? It's free hardware.. You can build a 1MW DC for $100-200K and fill it with 2PH worth of their hardware (50% being yours). How can you possibly say $100-200K/PH is a bad deal? The next best deal is S3's at ~900k/PH. An S3 farm would use slightly less electricity usage once you factor in the extra 50% required with MBP franchising but it is not going to make an $800k difference. Also I think you should look up the meaning of centralization as the goal of the franchising programs is literally to promote the opposite. |
