Only admins are able to check the IP logs, and theymos won't release the data unless you have a court order or a police request...

Current policy is to release IPs only in response to a court order or a reasonable police request. (I don't guarantee that I won't release IPs in other cases, though.)

I asked for his consideration on the matter earlier this week and haven't received a reply, I'm under the impression the two former options are the only options in this scenario.

Yup I don't think theymos will make an exception this time. Otherwise, he will likely get a lot of similar requests in the future.

LOL :DDD How would an email help anyway?

Turn off the news and read. Watch Psywar, learn something important about our society and PR, why and how it got started and how it brainwashes you.

So you (might) have an email address of a guy that scammed ~2,000 bitcoins and you are asking his innocent victims to pay 0.1 BTC for it? How about just sharing it and proof why it's from him? If you are the reason of why people will get their money back I am sure they will reward you.

If you have Toad's email, there is a good chance he has since deleted it, or is no longer using it. And if he was smart, he never accessed it insecurely. So that's another dead end.

"This account was deleted and is no longer recoverable."

Basic searches don't bring up anything.

If that was actually his e-mail I am afraid it was just a pretty much fake e-mail not connected to anything else. Thanks for sharing though.

If anyone wants to discuss and share details, please PM me.  Multiple posters in this thread can't be trusted and are only confusing the issue and spreading FUD.  If you're serious about getting to the bottom of this, then let's do it instead of walking in circles.  I have been busy lately, but recently got in touch with a couple groups that are interested in resolving this as well.  We will need to talk to some of the bigger losers in this scam as well.

Holy. I stopped reading this thread quickly. It went down fast. Seems like nothing but trolling going around.
