Arg should have a checkpoint out in the next few weeks, he said last week of March first couple weeks April. If it's to big a pain in the ass I would wait till it comes out. You will have to download the wallet again anyway for all the new features

Great ideas, everybody.  Arg sends his thanks for sticking around for the good times ahead.

The bar is set kind of high in cryptocurrency.  Need to do the job right.   Cool

that is great to hear from RadDragon on the behalf of Argakiig, post something official statement about the current position of under develop features that would be more helpful to gain trust from investors.

Yes it's been awhile since we had a check point and the block chain is pretty big.

The need for a truly untraceable and fully fungible coin has come into the spotlight even more these last couple of weeks. SSD's features satisfy these criteria better than any of the other alt coin right now. Let's fucken launch this thing.
The features speak for themselves, if the developer get's everything working as planned this coin WILL fill a niche and increase in value.
I'm still holding based on features alone as I know nothing about the developer of this coin. Fingers crossed he's a man who does what he says will.

things like this certainly will, sooner or later Wink

Sonic is the first cryptocurrency to combine cryptographic transaction anonymity with the privacy protection of Tor. This combination prevents both analysis of the blockchain and of the network, providing total privacy protection for SSD users. No other coin offers this level of privacy protection.

I agree its the best privacy coin but its not the only coin that uses TOR. IMO What makes SSD special is that it uses the same algo as Bitcoin so any features that are developed for this coin could be used for bitcoin in the future making this coin worth a lot to those invested in bitcoin as well. In other words those who have a vested interest in bitcoin being private should also invest in SSD. To me this means SSD could be worth more than most privacy coins.

right on brother. That's why I'm holding a pile of these. The amount of work in this coin is already worth more than it's price at the moment.

Sorry but right now technology really isnt enough for a coin to go to the moon.  10% tech 90 marketing and networking.  Many coins boast their anonymity features.  Xst neos nav sdc.  Guess what?  They are still not on the moon.

yes, but their feature set lacks what SSD is capable of. Darkcoin and Monero are in the spotlight right now but Darkcoin is not truly decentralised and thus not as anonymous and Monero is truly anon but lacks the feature set of SSD.
This coin is a sleeper and when it is updated and working perfectly AND publicised, it may well rocket up in popularity and price.

The only coin in your list that uses Sha-256 is Neos and they don't have TOR integration or anything remotely close to sonic...and they aren't doing that bad either. https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/neoscoin My point is that btc isnt as private as it once was believed to be and SSD offeres safety measures for those who no longer can do business with btc who require that level of privacy...using technology that could easily be integrated into btc one day. BTC is here to stay so if you're developing a coin it better not be competing with btc. Instead it should be expanding upon btc and making btc what you want it to be. This is the original reason I began following SSD and why I feel it should be worth at least .05 btc if not more.
