I tried this
addnode=xu5ci4j3sr6rehaq.onion:14437 addnode=vn4g4t6gwqja5tno.onion:14437 addnode=srnb7dxv47oxxfmy.onion:14437 addnode=jjsgap2t6rhoyawq.onion:14437 addnode=127.0.0.1:42512 addnode=lbtk6lq44ca2wu7k.onion:14437
this "addnode=tvvovkwu2qd3cdiq.onion:14437" "addnode=ry3ifywtgeqqghf7.onion:14437" "addnode=zj3piimlcwiybvg7.onion:14437"
and this "addnode=xu5ci4j3sr6rehaq.onion:14437" "addnode=vn4g4t6gwqja5tno.onion:14437" "addnode=srnb7dxv47oxxfmy.onion:14437" "addnode=jjsgap2t6rhoyawq.onion:14437" "addnode=127.0.0.1:42512" "addnode=lbtk6lq44ca2wu7k.onion:14437"
each of the entries above were saved into a text file and named (inserttitle).conf and placed into the general appdata sonic screwdriver formula where wallet.dat is stored.
I was using the nodes mentioned by elroigter above
Anyone know what I am doing wrong? An example of how it should look would be SOOO helpful!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

addnode=<ip> doesn't seem to work on either of my wallets, one running one not. addnode=<lbtk6lq44ca2wu7k.onion:14437> returns this Method not found (code -32601)
same with every variation I can think of as well as unrelated commands. How do you make it work for yourself?
this is all being executed from the debug console like you recommended
From my debug text file if this helps?

I will throw it out to him! I think we will have a better chance once some things have been released. I have a few other payment portals in mind to but but to be considered for them our volume needs to be consistently higher.

Do you think anyone would contribute code/tools if there was a way to crowdfund interesting project ideas for sonic? Instead of making arg do everything just compensate other coders with ssd.

I do think it would be a good idea, what kind of projects do you have in mind?

I don't have any specifically, but I know others probably do and just need a little motivation to make them happen. I think a trader bot for sonic might be cool though. There are very few crypto communities that have regular people coding tools on a regular basis to further their developers project. It could turn into something really unique that gives users more of what they ask for. What would be really cool is if that in wallet Tor browser was available the crowdfunding development platform could operate from there.
Do you have anything in mind?

I belive anything developed should be kept in the realm of sonic or stealth. That is keeping with the privacy route. I'll have to think on it a bit but would gladly donate to a development fund with SSD or BTC.

How would you go about making it trustless? so that one person doesn't have to be trusted with all of the coins and the tool developers don't run away as soon as you pay them.

I would propose hondo or arg hold funds in a public address. Who knows maybe one of the things built could be some sort of smart contracts on the block chain. I'm not that technically versed and I'm sure this would be a large task to complete.
I trust both hondo and argakiig. Both have a a lot invested into sonic and stealth and over the past few months I have come to know arg on more of a personal level than just for sonic. Plus they have the technical know how to assess and help implement any new tech or application.

How do you think something like this could even get started and do you think it would work? Most importantly would the devs be okay with it.

I'll see if argakiig want to weigh in on this. I think anything this big would need to wait till the sonic market is reivigerated as volume is low ATM and the community has dwindled. Arg mentioned in slack yesterday that him and hondo are working on something together. It might give the boost we need to attract interested parties to the project.

imho despite having some good ideas this coin doesn't have a lot of followers because there is no one championing it and instilling confidence in buyers that better things are on the way. That could be done in two ways, by the community or by the developers. Look at dogecoin there is literally no innovation or reason to like it, but people have taken to it as a joke (and a pump) and others got confused enough to think that maybe it it something special so they stick around and it has a large community. Other coins like Neucoin have devs constantly pushing and marketing that coin to death so it became popular. These things came from nothing and were started by individuals so I believe that starting small on a project and just putting it out there might be enough to help others get interested. If we wait around for a release by Arg things aren't gonna happen for a long time. How long have people been saying "Oh yeah a release is right around the corner, not long now"

Arg has been saying updates soon since the beginning but he is only one person. IMO hes not an advertiser or a promoter which is something this coin needs. He is however a good programmer so maybe he should do as you suggest and crowd fund some promotions for Sonic. I think I had mentioned something similar a few months back so good luck with your endeavor.

When it is possible Arg and Hondo must make one new coin StealthSonic Let both coin's become one! Then they make a different in Crypto World. Also the community is then stronger most people i know have both coin's.
Best Regards
