Wow! Congrats, nice work.

I've just downloaded from US App Store. Full functionality. Perfect.

v1.9.3 works real nice!

not for me, the bug that only I seem to experience (but do so consistently) perstists.

here's a variant: when answering "yes" to "do you want to save that address to your contacts?", it hangs at "saving wallet" (cannot exit to menu, only option is to switch off)

so, I can't send money, never was able to.

piuk, did you receive a crash report this time?

if this is just me, I don't really care about the bug since I use electrum on my droid. But I doubt I'm the only one, my iPod is pretty much vanilla. Installed some games and jailbroke for blockchain.

Anyone with an iPod (4 I think, high-res screen, 2 cams, iOS 4.3.3 (8J2)) that can actually send money?

nope, didn't mod cydia in any way. it's like it got installed by the jailbreak web-page.

Suggestion for the app store version - leave the functionality in, but disabled through a hidden setting, via a configuration file on the sd card or something so its easy to hack. I have friends who refuse to jailbreak their devices and want to get them to install this... I'll never understand why people would use a product where the manufacturer actively tries to control what you can do with it. Whats the incentive for apple to limit apps anyway?...

iPhones don't have SD cards so I'm not sure what you are asking.

Also, you don't need to jailbreak to install this.  Blockchain is in the official App Store with full functionality.

Apple limits apps in order to try and ensure stable, secure and consistent apps.  If they just let anyone post apps, malicious apps would be more common.  For example, there were multiple banking apps on the non-curated android marketplace that stole credentials.

Due to restrictions from Apple the bitcoin wallet functionaility is not available in the app store version. However it is still available for free download with limited features.

The in-app QR scanner doesn't work on my iPhone 3G. The window opens that shows what my camera sees but it never recognizes a QR code or takes a picture.

However, I'm able to use an external QR reader app that fires up Blockchain.

Creating a new transaction stalls for minutes at "Signing Input 1 of 1" on my iPhone 3G. After about two minutes it finally completes.

Even on my 4S, signing inputs can take some time.

Interesting. So it doesn't sound like a bug, it sounds like the phone is doing real work.

It seems there should be a way around this. BitcoinSpinner on Android doesn't have this delay.
