Even if this offer is real, I won't accept it. Buying emotions is very bad.

I wouldn't. I can see some future bad effects of this name on my child already and he would hate me for it.
I agree with this, as I would not do so either. I think it would likely have negative effects on the child throughout his life.

Goal: 150.00000000 Ƀ
Nobody pledged so far
302 days to go
I doubt this project will successfully achieved. 150BTC is too damn high, lower to 1 BTC maybe succeed. And BTW satoshi is a really good name, I would like named my son in the future for free if I have a lot of Ƀ

I have two daughters. The first has my first name and my wife's middle name. While I am male, my name (Lyndsy) is much more commonly given to girls, and both of our names have family history going back five or six generations each. My second daughter got a virtue name - "Liberty Grace".
I would name a son Satoshi without much of a second thought. I'd name a son or even a daughter "Satoshi Bitcoin" for the current equivalent of $70k without much thought for it either. We could call her "Satie", and I doubt most people would even know that there was a story behind the name.
In fact, I'll go a step further. My wife and I aren't planning on having another child - but for 200 BTC, we'll either have another or will adopt, and name them "Satoshi Bitcoin" regardless of sex.
Shoot me a PM and we'll figure out escrow, set up a contract, and I'll phone my wife and get to work.

¿"Her"? Satoshi isn't a female name. And of course I'd do it for BTC150, that's a lot of money.

Absolutely. In fact, I might name a baby Satoshi just in gratitude for Bitcoin itself.

I would definitely name one of my kids as Satoshi. The name feels more of Japanese origin. I can easily tell my neighbours that our ancestral families come from Japan )

I'd name my kid Satoshi and keep the 150 btc for him or her to spend when he or she is 18 years old. And I won't tell my wife about it because well, she'd never allow it.
