Indeed, you can still use your usual fee if you want to. Just that your bet will no longer be processed immediately but until your transaction gets 1 confirmation.

You can send multiple bets in 1 transaction. I always place 20 bets on red in 1 transaction. So it will only cost me 0.0002 for 20 bets.
