So we'll get to know the market price of these turds.
The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Early in the voting and it does NOT capture the comments in the thread but staying private is in the lead...

Well... it WAS in the lead. Tongue

Well, at this point, 15-4 (relist versus private).  Private not looking so hot  Sad

Hey, since you're a shareholder wouldn't you be getting a cut of the 10 btc?

I think the 10 BTC will be divided over all outstanding shares.
If he owns (outstanding) shares himself then yes he gets a cut.

I'd like to know whether or not any of his shares will be going on the exchange (in his account or an issuer account) when/if the transition is made.

The 10 BTC bonus (if still available from Bitfunder) will be paid to outstanding shares (none owned by me or those surrendered by hashking and Patrick Harnett).  I have been using the term "outstanding" and have purposely just considered the ~200 shares I bought on the market as lost.  Paying coupons to those shares is just circular money movement anyways...

The listing will still be 55,000 shares but only 33,383 will be outstanding.  The other shares will be held in my "issuer" account.

The 10 BTC (if available) would be BTC0.00029955/share and would be classified as an extraordinary dividend (i.e., NOT a coupon).

i see currently 70% to listing to one or the other exchange (which is what i'd like to see)

but something to consider. anyone can vote in that poll

may want to run a poll through email or thread to confirmed holders?

might get less response that way but seems like it would make more sense to only include those who are directly effected

@Camolist,

I was going to do a a survey via surveymonkey and never got around to it.

You are correct that others can vote (non bondholders) but this thread is kinda low traffic and expect those looking at it are more than likely bondholders.

This was also why I added a "just show me the results" option so those who are curious and do not want to influence the results could participate.

Up to 7,281 8,042 shares now confirmed (these are in addition to those who received their accumulated coupons yesterday - 22,581 shares).

Now up to 8,133 (30,714 TOTAL).  2,669 to go...

EDIT - Added poll to thread regarding path forward...

Now up to 9,030 -- 1,772 to go

Polls have now been skewed beyond a few extra visitors.
Obviously now anyone who holds any interest in either LTC-GLOBAL shares, or the BTC-TRADING-PT fund will be happy to come vote.

I know you had the best intentions Burnside, but this was meant to be for YABMC holders.

If you held YABMC on GLBSE and would like to see your shares on BTC-TC, I recommend responding to the current poll at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=75867.380

Cheers.

Yeah, don't want to skew things.  Thus why the "If you held YABMC" part is in bold...   Undecided

Please only vote if you held YABMC folks.

OK - poll closes tomorrow at 12:00 UTC.  Getting close between Bitfunder and BTC-TC...

Please only vote if you are currently a YABMC bondholder.

I voted BTC-TC since I already have another bond go on there after glbse. It looks nicer then the other site. I honestly don't know anything else about either site or those who run them.

Is there any significant difference in the migrating fee to BitFunder or BTCTC? If there is no difference or it is low I would go for BTCTC

Migrating fee?
I am pretty sure BTCT is refunding any creation fees so there should be no charge to migrate to them when all is said and done.
BitFunder is free to accepted former GLBSE assets.

There is the 10BTC bounty that BitFunder would pay out to the YABMC asset account for dividend distribution to all share claimants if it joins there.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130754.0

In a way, you could say its a -10BTC fee to join BitFunder.  Grin

The only difference I can see in fees is the trading fee (i.e., how much of a percentage is paid to the exchange for a sell order).

Bitfunder is 1% and BTC-TC is 0.2% for your first trade.  Bitfunder then has tiers down to 0.5% fee for those who trade more frequently (volume is quarterly not monthly).

1% to sell only.
Buying is always free of charge. Smiley
BitFunder promotes people buying into and supporting community projects.
You could call it 0.5% for the buy, and 0.5% for the sell. and then down to half that with bulk. Tongue

 Embarrassed

I was thinking I am at UTC-5 like Summertime - whoops.

Will extend until 13:00 UTC tomorrow (Wednesday)...

I am going to do a survey via e-mail -- this is too close to call and do not want to have it influenced by people not holding YABMC.

Based on what I have seen, I agree this is the best course of action.

If possible I would ask if any mods would/could be willing to check ALL votes for shills regardless of the email survey.
If there is forum abuse, it should be found out.
