I consider buying a megapack. Would some of you guys jump in? I mean: buy shares at cost from me then? I dont want to keep all of those 4 GHs

If you really want to sell them at cost(BTC and self referral bonus included), as you said, you would price them @ 2.60 $ / 1 MH and not

Yap, bought one. Someone needs shares right now? Give them for 0.0088/MH for this very moment, will probably ask for more
later. PM me

So at 350$ / BTC you add a chunk of 0.48$ or 18.5 % on top of the store price. Nice margin  Wink, but no buy at cost.

Ya that's true, factor in the risk I take Wink I think it's still a reasonable price, and the rate of PMs I get at the
moment makes me believe I'm not the only one to think that.

EDIT: BTW: If someone had answered to my original offer, I would of course have fulfilled the
commitment at cost (including BTC discount, but no referrals).

Didn't mean that the price is not reasonable, but you said "at cost" and that was simply not true  Smiley

Btw I think the price you offer is very good indeed and I have nothing against people earning a buck or two for organizing the whole stuff and all.

Email from Chris:

After gathering feedback from several affiliate partners (some with undergoing marketing campaigns), there is a change of plans; the referral system will be kept, however, new rules will be added, here's two examples:

- No support will be offered for orders placed with wrong referral ID or without a referral ID. It's affiliate partner job to make sure customers use correct referral
link when accessing website
- Referrals for orders paid outside referral payout interval, will not be paid any more. Eg. if an order is inside referral payout interval Dec 1 - Dec 7, but it is paid Dec 8.

The complete list will be available Monday (referral payout day).

If you are interested in bonus shares please use my affiliate link and PM me your order number.

ltcgear.com?apage=641

Thanks

That is really bad news. Why does he care about a couple of affiliate partners, if 95% of his customers want the ref system to be shut down? I don't understand that..
I haven't received any emails about that. Haven't seen anything on the LTCGear main page either.

I would like to put together a group buy. I will put together the details tomorrow while I have the time.

This would include the 8% discount and 11% discount allowing us to all benefit from it at cost. This should bring it down close to $2.60 per MH.

I will attempt to keep this as transparent as possible as this would involve a good amount of Bitcoins. I would prefer to keep away from an escrow service unless they are extremely reliable and provide it for little to no fee as this would raise everyone's rate. If everyone prefers this method we can all decide to eat the added cost.

I'm a bit hesitant with these mega packs, it's a bit of a big boost in sales and network capacity. Or Chris has a lot of capacity extra that wasn't sold yet or he's planning on upgrading big soon and needs the money for it.

Agreed they are a big difference and could explain some of the network increases lately... Or as you say offloading current stock before moving on to the next.

I hope it's not an atempt to sqeeze the last money out of it, we'll see
