I do have some second thoughts about LTCgear and some strange (personal) coincidences.
Now, that sounds interesting.. I am as silent as a grave, if you need someone to talk Wink

Not yet man, I truly believed for awhile it was solid, had a lot of doubts of cause, some strange facts on the web, until yesterday. Assuming I lost all those shares, I need to hear from Chris first, if you know what I mean.

Good thing LTC difficulty is dropping again, it might still be a good time to reinvest in extra shares for the shares multiplication that is coming up at the end of this year!  Smiley

I was not looking at the static difficulty that changes every +/- 3 days but the current total Litecoin network (1379 Ghash atm) which has decreased significantly compared to yesterday. Good thing you are mentioning though, I was not specific enough Wink

It can't drop, my friend Wink. Look at the hashrate which was pumped into network last few weeks because of "who-knows-who".  Grin

Please be very capful, we all know new equipment turns on every day, we all know suppliers and the chips whey are coming from.

I am still hoping LTCgear is not dud after 18hours+  no-response form Chris.

We all can argue there is no proof LTCgear did not do it, or did.
No transparency, no pictures, no name, no number to call. All we have is chris@ltcgear.com

Can anyone imagine how big this thing is? I am alone had 11800 shares != 11BTC invested. I know tens of pools with hundreds of BTCs. I know BTC and LCT payout are handled through new buy orders. Look at the blockchain explorer you'll find where money are coming from. Yes, some of the accounts are mining (he could buy those LTC from the miners you know), but it you look closely, a lot of LTC and BTC are coming from huge holders accounts (If you are lazy I can copy-paste the whole chain links) 600k LTC,  12k BTC, look for yourself. Can he mine those extra? Atop of those discounted prices?

I would not do this fuss, unless I had some very serious doubts Chris on his way to Asia right now. Sorry.

Can you please stop spamming this thread and give Chris a decent amount of time to even reply to you?

You are the one that got scammed and so far it looks like you have been the only person who has had this problem, now you are spreading fud about a company that has been operating for more then a year.

As you said the shares are already sold, so what can Chris even do for you then?
You propably had a virus/malware on your computer which was tracking all your login information or someone was able to gather the login information from either your local or a public computer on which you logged in.

That is just my opinion of course, but it will not help anyone to keep repeating the same issues over and over again without giving Chris a decent amount of time to look into this.

I think a trojan/backdoor is the most probably way he got scammed. Or maybe he signup on a website with the main email address he is using on his ltcgear account and used the same password as on his mailbox. The only way he could get hacked on ltcgear is if his mailbox got hacked. No way he could get hacked directly from ltcgear website...

#2 shares are gone no rollback possible when he sold the shares. It was your faul to use an infected computer without 2FA e-mail. Sorry for your loss.

Maybe? 1 of the new 15k packs has sold already by the looks of things, so probably a good idea on Chris' part.

Although he hasn't deleted the 40k one yet.

Edit: And now its gone from the site...
Edit: And back again.

You're whining about 19 hours? Are you serious? Chris, from what I know, is the only one handling support requests. He's far too busy to get back to you instantly. Get over yourself. If you lack the patience to wait for a response from Chris about an issue that was entirely your fault then you should leave. Honestly, you'd be lucky if Chris compensated you. Your account isn't his responsibility; it's yours.

Now, have some patience and wait for a response. Chris is human, he has to eat, sleep, manage his farm, and do a heck of a lot more than what he's telling us. On-hold payments are going to be his #1 concern, and he can't devote his whole day to answering support tickets.

Your complaining is getting annoying; don't post that he hasn't answered your ticket every hour. Take a nap or something, find ways to pass the time. Before you know it he'll answer your ticket, but you've got to give him time. Allow another 24 hours to pass.

I highly appreciate every PM I get with info about legitimacy of LTCgear, everything you guys dig-up is precious. I've never wanted to be the one to take it down, especially being highly invested as you all know.
Now, loosing everything I guess I am everybody's enemy for criticizing LTCgear.

LTCgear's privacy procedure was my main concern when joined 5 weeks ago. No 2FA? Just email password. I know people invested  hundreds_k of $ in this. Just one-time password?? Look at me. I lost what? 10-11 BTC, if you have 100, what will you do?

Of cause I am spamming, wanting to price go lower as you all know, god forbid, I can even sell you anything, but my opinion...

Sure, I suppose LTCGear doesn't have a 2FA system such as Authy, but the current email system is better than nothing. However, if you're using GMail, they have a 2FA option using your phone number. If you used that then the only way in which they would be able to access the email confirmation code for your account would be through either a physical or remote connection straight to your computer, such as a RAT, since they wouldn't be able to login on their device. If you did use GMail, you should be able to see an IP Log of the users that have logged into your account.
