Bough 1k6 shares yesterday. The order went through. I have added my bitcoin wallet. Now it shows processing. Is this normal? What else do I need to do?

This is perfectly normal, just hang on untill payday Friday  Cheesy Have you set the "coin choose" for payouts to BTC?

I have orders 6 weeks old which are still on "processing". I think it is a manual and super-low-priority task of Chris
to put orders from processing to completed  Cheesy

You should set it to "BTC" to make sure you get paid out in Bitcoins.

All orders in processing mode are actually completed. It's just a cosmetic bug and I don't think Chris should waste his time to fix it. Wink
As long as payout is made, we could be careless about this Grin

I was just offered shares in LTCgear as collateral against a loan request. I have not come across it earlier, so I want to ask whether it violates any kind of terms and conditions? In particular if there is something specific which I need to check out?

Can I easily sell them to recoup my loan in case of default?

Tier2 collateral for sure, give it a haircut of 30% on valuation.

I suppose you open an account with ltcgear and get the shares transferred. Then I don't see an objection,
it is ok with the terms and conditions (the owner is known and does allow private trading of shares).
The current value is around 0.5 $ per share, and I believe that if you offer them at a say 5% discount, they should be fairly easy to sell. Today. And next week. But there will be some loss of value over time, difficult to estimate..

Cheers for the replies Smiley

Whats a Tier2 collateral?

I am asking for roughly 50% more in share value for my loan.

I suppose you open an account with ltcgear and get the shares transferred. Then I don't see an objection,

Thats what I plan to do.

I am valuing them at 2 BTC/1600 shares. I guess along with the 50% buffer it should suffice even taking in the loss of value (its a 2 weeks loan).

EDIT: Just realised, is it possible that the account may be hacked?

Not as valuable as BTC, which is Tier 1.  So you give a haircut to the value, to show it's not as liquid.

You've already taken care of it with a 50% haircut.

Any chance that the original account might have been hacked? Has there been any reports of accounts being hacked and shares transferred?

Anywhere I can contact them to verify?

For some weeks, 2Factor Auth is up, so I wouldn't be worried. You could contact
the owner Chris, but usually he answers only critical questions, and probably
only if asked repeatedly. I would't be surprised if he's too busy to answer such
an inquiry..

Your website still has the anniversary "special" of selling cloud mining for 80% the list price. I don't see why they would offer such a large discount. Not only that but the original list price is horribly overpriced (~3x as expensive as the competition) and after the "special" is applied the cloud mining is priced well below market value (~65% of what the competition charges).
