MidasCoin should be a PURE pos COIN.POW is not a good choice , I means 51% attack .
agree, the community will get more coins for the giveaway.

hope to provide Chinese extension service for you,
I can help you creating a QQ group Like other successful alt coin.what do you think?
BTW:I can make a Chinese translation too.

POS is bad idea, there is most innovation growing on the POW network for script. Script asics are cheaper than Sha-256 now, and lot of network hash growing on this network.

POS is okay, just POW give much more fair distribution. With POS mining what's to stop someone from setting up 100 virtual machines and staking on few computers for mining? It's flawed for mining, but if it's pure interest then it's good model, but not for mining, horrible idea.
can we mine it with asic rig?

Also received email spam about this coin to an address I used ONLY for CryptoRush.  It appears all members of CryptoRush received the email, so either CryptoRush is behind this coin, CryptoRush sold their email database to the owners of this coin, or the owners of this coin stole the database from CryptoRush...take your pick.

The personal data collected are managed  accordingly to our privacy policy:
http://midaspay.io/privacy-policy/

If you think that a third party services authorized us to email you without your informed consensus, you can unsubscribe with 1 click from the newsletter, following the link on the email and accordingly to our privacy policy, any data will be removed instantly.

I know for sure that I didn't give consensus to this. I always, everywhere where I sign up, tick the option off where it says they can use my email for newsletters or other stuff.
Also the email I got it from is private and is used only on a few forums and indeed cryptorush which was brought up earlier.

About following the link to unsubscribe that shouldn't even be necessary since you obviously obtained my email in an illegal way.

I just found out that you started your company ONE day before you started this thread and your company's location is registered at companiesmadesimple.com witch is known for fake office space..

Could you comment on that ?

So you are saying that we have been able to develop a currency with custom functions, a new distribution system, the hosting structure, the merchant platform, the economic api, the financial platform, the integration with the debit card system, the social and support structure, and the various the stress testing ALL in 1 day?   We should be dramatically good!  Cool

As stated EVERYWHERE the development started 6+ months ago, and has been financed through private venture capital, no community funds, no premine, no ipo, no ico.

The company behind the startup has been incorporate not before, neither later, then when it was the exact moment to incorporate it.

Thanks for your attention.

The way I look at it, if you want to mine Midascoin, mine it; there is nothing the DEV can say or do to make you mine it or not, totally up to you. While I do not appreciate the email, I can live with it; it is not like I have not received emails in the past I was not expecting. Smiley

Hello,

You can use CGMiner, SGminer or Cudaminer, with one exception. You cant use CGMiner 3.7.2 as it will not work with our pool. So make sure to use CGMiner 3.7.3 if you choose to use CGMiner.

I'm not with Pandacoin either.  I was interested in this coin, but I don't like people spamming my private email, especially when I don't know exactly where they got my info.  You should just be upfront if you got the addresses from Cryptorush, because I'm about to come down on them like a hammer.

From the Cryptorush website (italics mine):

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

So can you let me know exactly where you got my email so that I can stop them from sharing it?

Everyone relax; they brought a mailing list from a marketing firm. No hacking involved.  Whenever you sign up for any on-line service they hide their right to sell your address in that wall of text everyone just clicks through.

Even if this is a scam (which our research seems to show it is not) just point your rigs somewhere else. For lots of us from places not in Western Europe or the US electricty is free anyway.

They don't even have a Bittrex listing yet.  Can't have a good crypto scam without Bittrex!

They used an email I only used on cryptorush, no way they had this address elsewhere.

They used an email I only used on cryptorush, no way they had this address elsewhere.

Same here, and there are 3 options

1. You are connected to cryptorush.in and therefore are authorised to use the information
2. You obtained the user list from them (and they broke their terms and conditions by supplying it to you)
3. You obtained it elsewhere.

Please don't tell me about about your privacy policy, answer the question about WHERE you obtained the list from, and if it's number 3 please specify who.
