#midascoin launched successfully, what a frenzy!
Wallet published, source published, PoM tuned up, life is beatifull!!! Life is golden!
The source code link on the main site http://midascoin.io/wallet/ does not work! Quote form the website now: GitHub closed due to leftover litecoin references found in the Linux and Mac wallets. We will reopen the GitHub in 12 hours with this fixed after our lead developer has resolved it, and all wallets will be recompiled with the problem resolved.

why i see the coin diff..is 27332...
so i am mined litecoin in midaspool??
Is that true ? Are using the hashpower directed to midas to mine other coins ? ..... U just see ur rigs diff accept... the diff is the same to litecoin ... To quote the first post: The Proof of Mining distribution system uses a different approach to securing the MidasCoin blockchain. Instead of “wasting unneeded hash power” for securing the network, which unless under attack can be secured with much less hash power, it uses 95% of the hash power to “secure another” blockchain. This increase the reserve fund that grants the backed MidasCoin value, actual and future DEV'S deceptions have been shown up by their own deeds... PROOF the proof pic link http://i2.tietuku.com/29a882f6025631a2.jpg Hello, I think you will find this post very interesting, specifically my point no. 3. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760755.msg8579279#msg8579279The difficulty you are pointing out is the PoM Difficulty, this applies only to MidasCoin mining on MidasPool.com. i out my hash of this .. thx dev... let me kown more new "difficulty understand" coin...

Are you guys using the hash power to mine lite coin and then trade it into USD to buy gold? If you have 20,000 gram ( 20 kilogram) of gold backing the original stash where is the new gold coming from? Are you buying it with the lite coin profits? I guess that would work I read your website and it's not clear at all. Also how does one get the credit card you advertise to withdraw the money with? Are you shipping it out to the owners on request?

Ahhh, I see now. My colleagues and I have been trying to figure out the real story behind this coin. Things didn't add up when we noticed the following:
1. For a legitimate company saying they have approximately $800k in gold reserves, they couldn't even hire a decent team to enhance the graphics, shop and videos.
2. The company seemed to be pushing some sort of credit/debit card. We couldn't fully understand the reasoning behind this concept. You give away "free" coins to miners in the hopes they will use your credit card? Now that's a great idea if you're a bank. Not so good if you're not, and I'm certain Midas Payments Ltd is not a bank.
3. With the recent launch, it seems we discover what PoM REALLY IS! Someone here is stealing hashing power to generate altcoins to cash in and fund the gold reserve. This begs the question...was there really ever a single gram of gold in the Midas reserves to begin with!
Don't waste your hash power folk. These guys were pretty good I must say, but definitely "fishy".
Too bad, there is a real Midascoin getting ready to launch (from what I heard they've been working hard at the program for 6 months) where the coin is definitely backed by real gold coins. From what I understand the coin will be premined and each Midascoin will represent a "contract of ownership" of 1/100 of a gram of real gold (coin). I also heard that they are open to people helping them with the mobile code. Their gold reserve will be held in a certified vault and they are going to have audits of the coins every so often to prove the backing. Check these guys out at midascoin.org.
Good luck to all who have been violated by "this" version of midas.

Your pool totally sucks I think. I can't trust your pool. Why don't you have third party reliable pools? Something seems fishy
There are often like 15 continuous minutes when my coin count wouldn't update and I have a lot of hash. This isn't normal. Something is wrong.

Based on the IRC convos it seems that the initial mining power from early miners "accidentally" by filing up the reserve or contributing to it so a lot of early miners lost out due to them not testing a high hash pool rate.
I am repointing miners. This coin has bad news written all over it IMO.
