I think Malwarebytes, is the Best.

I actually need a good antivirus for my Macbook, is there one? I was told by a friend that it seems like most are created for Windows only so that won't do obviously.

Can anyone share some sites that offer good anti-virus for Mac???

Give me your IP and let's see how that Mac works.
MACs are are a bad choice by the consumer, deluded by Apples fake 'premium'.

QUICKHEAL is the best best antivirus.
Judging from the name, it's very bad.

Microsoft Security Essentials + Malwarebytes Anti-Malware the both clean your pc and didn't get
crash like Kaspersky or Avast and Avira delete or affect you files ...

Avast and Avira are good in paid version,i use Avast free in years on win7,8 never crash.
Microsoft is worst antivirus,Kaspersky is good

I did not see any one use system mechanic, this is what I use, and have not had any issues in 4 years. It has a 30 day trial period, and then its like 30 bucks a year, and you can install it on all of your systems.
Has free updates continuously for free. and a lot of other features. I would give it a try.

Im satisfied enough with AVG in my laptop , but i prefer not to download unknown link with that.
In PC i use kapersky and that is the best antivirus for me. Because i have lot activity download/upload with my pc than my laptop.
