Sorry but linux is the only way to go if you are working with larger sums.

I dont understand people who are still using windows and working with larger bitcoin sums.

Well, quite as much as people are taking vaccines against a headache instead of taking a double espresso and press out a citrus and go to sleep  Grin

Indeed, prevention is better than a cure. The best way to be anti-virus is to not get infected in the first place.

Are there even any good antivirus out there that is absolutely free? I used to have Avira because it's pretty plain and simple.

Everyone will have their favorite, and I'm no different. I've tried many of those listed and come up with my best choices for FREE ones.

Goto Majorgeeks.com, it's a great site to get lots of FREE programs for your various needs.

I use SUPERANTISPYWARE FREE, it is very aggressive in cleaning, even cookies. And you'd be surprised how many cookies you can get by being online. You need some cookies to let your computer work on internet, but most of them are bad unwanted ones.
I always run it in COMPLETE mode, because it will scan everywhere, to find everything. Be careful when downloading, it will try and sell you their paid version. Also, watch what you check off little boxes, as with ANY free version, they always want to sell you their paid version.. Let's face it, they don't get anything for giving stuff away. But this is an extremely good cleaner.
