mac users dont need antivirus  Grin

How can you be so sure of that?

There are far less mac related viruses, but that doesn't mean you won't need antivirus.

COMODO Internet security premium + Malwarebytes pro
COMODO premium is free and I find it pretty awesome (after some minor tweaks).
Info from their website:
Antivirus: Tracks down and destroy any existing malware hiding in a PC.
Anti-Spyware: Detects spyware threats and destroys each infection.
Anti-Rootkit: Scans, detects & removes rootkits on your computer.
Bot Protection: Prevents malicious software turning your PC into a zombie.
Defense+: Protects critical system files and blocks malware before it installs.
Auto Sandbox Technology™: Runs unknown files in an isolated environment where they can cause no damage.
Memory Firewall: Cutting-edge protection against sophisticated buffer overflow attacks.
Anti-Malware Kills malicious processes before they can do harm

AVGfree, Avast, Avira = tossup for everyday protection.

Malwarebytes, Hitmanpro as necessary.

Bootable Hitmanpro flashkey for unbootable infected systems.

I think Kaspersky, is the Best.

IMHO

Well, Kaspersky is really good but it is not free unfortunately. When you are seeking free good antiviruses Avast! is among the best.

I'm willing to pay only 8$/year for an anti virus software. It's not too expensive !

I would recommend Avast. Even free version is free and effective, and enough to keep your PC clean.

Avast is good. I guess it is sufficient if you are not some maniac who wants to be absolute sure about his security.

You can try Kaspersky and Bitdefender.
