I'd like to think of myself as an excellent judge of character, what with my background in social work/psychology and my experience as a counselor and therapist.  I also meticulously scrutinize the language that people use when they communicate as it is a direct reflection of their state of mind -- after all, people think with language, and if they don't make sense out loud or in print, chances are that they are similarly confused in their heads.

That being said, you DO stand out from everybody.  You have something special, and what's even more refreshing is that you know you have something special.  In my honest opinion (I hope everybody reads this, although I doubt any but a few will care) you are easily one of the most intelligent and thoughtful people in the Bitcoin community, and everybody could learn a thing or two from you. 

You WILL be successful.  Just be yourself, regardless of what persona you need to don to fulfill whatever responsibilities you currently have.  You are remorselessly you.  Few people truly realize that this and this alone is the key to success.

I sincerely wish you the best of luck...

When I first saw this image the other day, I didn't get its implications, for I thought the guy was a comedian like Will Ferrell or somebody else. It wasn't until I read the word pedo in the quoted text above that made me recall who he is. I remember seeing the episode of that one dude that got caught a second time. I also remember a preacher and a magazine publisher--yes, a magazine publisher once got to lay down in the grass on one episode.

So 'they' are out there. The colour of phrases help to determine everything. How do you determine if the words have been edited, corrected, etc...?  2$ for your thoughts.

I tend to do so as well, although not actively. Obviously you can't determine whether something has been changed unless you see the change happen, but I tend to build a profile and a mental picture of persons based on their posts.

17 is underage in the US? The US sucks.

Depends on the state. In some places, sex between 16y/o & 18 y/o is fine, most states 15y/o with 15y/o is statutory rape. Sometimes, 17y/o with 65y/o is fine so long as it isn't recorded. I'm not up-to-date on the laws though, so maybe some of those examples are no longer true.

A lot of the states changed this to 18 even with a parents permission after the fear of polygamy in a few of the Western and Southern states.

Is it normal that you as a teacher, film underage students in their underwear and publish this online ?

Since there seems to be a few recurring misconceptions floating around, I'll try to shed some more light on them if I can:

• I believe the video was recorded by an amateur photographer friend of hers.
• Cultural differences aside, the video is neither sexual nor pornographic in nature. I definitely appreciate the concerns of her well-being by the community and encourage more involvement with her career, but ultimately I fail to see any endangerment of any sort. I feel this is mostly a non-issue that has been inflated with FUD by those of certain religious affiliations as there is obviously no legal issue with the content in question in Korea or anywhere else to the best of my knowledge. For those who would consider a 17 year old girl wearing a shirt and panties on a 12 second video to be shocking, I fear a heart-attack is imminent upon learning of the following internationally publicized activity: Miley Cyrus's 9-year-old sister launching a lingerie line for kids.
• I can obviously contact her myself and advise her against doing videos of this nature in the future based on concerns raised by the community, but it is of course better if the community voices this opinion to her uploaded video page directly. I believe her parents are her acting managers at this moment so it is probably an issue best discussed with them until she is 18.
• I haven't worked in education since 2010. I only work in Bitcoin now and I've never been happier.
