i want to ask a question how does share thing works?

like we have now 64,000,000,000 difficulty
and suppose i have 1,000,000,000 shares and someone finds a BLOCK so will my share reset to 0?

Your best share will reset to zero but your total share count never goes down.

so it like that total shares make you block reward  or best share?
and at what hit?

solo pool is all or nothing.  shares under the current winning diff are worthless.

so if your best share is 60,000,000,000 and the current diff is 62,600,000,000

you lose.

if you accumulate   lots of losing shares they have no worth in a solo pool.

regular pools have an accounting system assign them value and dole out little payouts base on group partnership of the entire pool.

that is not done here.

but some of us do side deals  maybe kick in 1 coin each between five of us and agree to split a block if we hit.

so it is a club using a solo pool.

I wrote a python script that will notify you via email when a block is hit:

No. That went to a random 1x address instead of the 3x address he was mining to.

I was cleaning some boxes in my computer room and I found a few of those old ASICMiner USB miners from the summer of 2013.  I think that they run at 300 Mh/s.  I have a computer running as a server so I was thinking that I could plug them into and run them for a one in a billion lottery ticket.

Are there any issues with the CK Solo server having Mh/s hashrate?

How many do you have?

I have one I don't run.

I can mail it to you if you have two and add my one you would be at one gh.

I would send it for free. But if you ever hit with it don't forget me.

MHs should be fine. If not, just host a copy of the blockchain on the server and mine to your own bitcoin-core. It's pretty easy.

I find that USB miners are too rough on my USB hubs, making the entire computer slower and connections of other usb things (iphone etc) almost impossible. Then again my computer's about 5 years old Cheesy

Solo mining is alive and profitable!
Helped? Thanks! 1CXRFh4bDVFBsUzoHMMDbTMPcBP14RUTus

No there are no issues.  I mine with BE's from time to time as well as a Jalapeno.  There are several others using BE's as well.
