Why is there so much negativity for SHA 256.

So many people asking me on Youtube, But I want Scrypt....I don't want SHA 256.....

But why do you want Scrypt?Huh Payouts are just not as good as SHA 256.

GM have added some new SHA 256 options to their interface today

You can now mine BitcoinDark.

Also LTC and Darkcoins, by way of their auto trade functionality.

This means that they will trade in SHA 256 coins each day and convert them to whichever you chose, either LTC or DRK.

Well GM probably have to purchase Scrypt hardware and if payouts are low at the moment, then perhaps they do not want to purchase any more because they might not get ROI on it and also perhaps do not want customers purchasing Scrypt right now because the payouts are low.

I would go with SHA 256 for the time being as you are getting around much better payouts compared to scrypt at the moment.

For example 20GH/s SHA 256 costs $15.99 or $14.22 if you take into account the promo discount on offer at the moment and payout yesterday was almost 19000 satoshi.
1 MH/s Scrypt when available costs 17.99 and  payout yesterday was 7935 satoshi.

I leave it on the Guild Pool as the Multi pool choice is always up and down. One day ok and then other days poor so I think over a month if you averaged all the payouts out, the Guild and Hash choices would be best.

Guild and Hash are just stable and not erratic, in my opinion. You might get a slightly higher payout with it on the Multi pool choice one day but then for a few days it is actually the lowest again.

Yes, definitely the best thing to do, you might get a nice payout as I said with the Multi for a few days every month but it can also give you some really awful payouts, and if you add up all the payouts over a month, the Guild and Hash would give you more.

The GM 1MH/s and the SHA 256 contracts from GM and GAW will most likely reach ROI

After 90 days I at around 50% ROI with all of those above. I feel that the SHA 256 contracts etc will reach ROI first, just to do the fact that Scrypt payouts are just going downhill.

The rest, not so sure if the payouts keep on going down and the Waffle Hashlet, so far over 90 days around 28% ROI and that will only get worse if I keep getting  1 satoshi a day payouts.

The Zen hashlet is doing ok too, well was, but recently the payouts on that have gone downhill too, much worse than the GM 1MH/s Contract and at the time I paid 20.95 USD for the Hashlet Zen as well.
