C Miner Update (dcct)

if you are using c miner for linux, please update your miner : https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/burst-mirror/dcct-pool-miner-r2.tgz
this basically remove deadline limit and add socket timeout on nonce submission

for linux 32?

Is http://burst-pool2.cryptoport.io/ having problems with accepting shares?
I am getting following message from burst-pool-miner:

Submitting Share
Error: Failed to submit nonce, retrying...
Error: Failed to submit nonce.

It's been an issue since the pool started and has not  been fixed. I guess there are no reliable pools right now for Burst, it's a shame  Undecided. I've tried all of them, some won't even pay what they're supposed to.

Uray--can you perhaps change how rewards are allocated?  Reduce or eliminate payouts to extremely high deadlines and increase payout sharply for shares that actually have a chance of finding a block.

After this latest set of difficulty increases, those who submit potentially winning deadlines, or even find a block, can receive very very low payouts.

I found a block for the pool and received less than 300 BURST for it.  That is absurdly low.

edit: have not gotten a payout for 8 hours now on both pools.

ok i changed the curve to 0.9 exponent right now, lets see if its better, as for reward allocation or payment problem, i still look into it for any bugs

in the mean time, i have developed new client (miner) for this pool
its here : https://github.com/uraymeiviar/burst-miner/releases/tag/1.0

its native (c++) for win, osx and linux, all binaries  and source available there
it will reduce pool load, and increase reliability for submiting shares, please test it

Thanks for the development!

I took a look at the config and changed to my plot location, but even before doing that when I run the .exe it just flashes briefly on the screen and quits.

I am on Win7 64-bit.  What can I do to see the error?
