This coins bottom seems to be 1300 lately, and it's almost there now. That planned announcement announcement got it up to 1611. So hard to decide with this coin.

Has there been a weekly sale lately?

the market will be open really soon with many good things again Wink

I'm sure that EXCL will bring many nice things , cheers Smiley

Initial ICO price was 5k but it was set to 500 sats after the community requested a low entry point for early buyers. I think EXCL should have been at 5k-10k range by now like I've mentioned before.

Kingscrown asked me about helping him initiate a hardfork in order to change the POS rewards of EXCL and transitioning it into POS only much sooner. What do you guys think about this?

I have had some good success with PayCon and initiated a hardfork with no issues that changed the Proof of Stake reward to be 30 Coins per Block (along with the base difficulty), in every Block which mimics Proof of Work (PayCon is a Proof of Stake only Coin). The initial inflation is high with PayCon, 15.8 Million Coins per year (30 Coins * 1440 Blocks per day * 365 days) currently the float is 3.4 million, but Coins are only going to active Stakers so have only seen price increases along with the inflation because POS holders tend to hold their Coins instead of dumping because the cost of Staking is 1000X less than POW and you need to own Coins in order to Stake.

You guys seem to really dislike POW always dumping on the price and so do I, so if you would like to make a change and kill the POW then please decide what you want to make as the changes and why.

Well, I am miner for more than two years now and since x11 came on scene I was mining dark for 6 months, then move to cannabis for 2 months and from September I'm mining excl.
First two brought huge success to me, I still want to mine this very very much.
If you move it to POS what shall we mine then?

And this coin isn't near where it should be.

You would mine other Coins in the multipool and have it converted to EXCL which increases buy pressure.

what ever it takes to get this coin where it belongs is fine with me i stake it anyway so would be no difference.I will let the techies look after this kind of stuff

keep the ideas coming, we are surely interested in what community ha in mind.
we heard many peopel saying to kill PoW and put even small staking to make current coins worth mor easily [since we would reduce total of coins drastically].

Yes I would go for a switch to POS only.

If a hard-fork is going to happen then a short discussion on any other changes would be appropriate as it would be a good opportunity for other changes.  Needs to be kept brief though, we don't want the community falling out about what to change.  Whole process needs to be strongly lead which I'm sure you will do.  You have my complete support kingscrown.

i doubt EXCL will ever see 800 again and dev asking community if they want code change is imo a decent thing.

I think we should do a fork, however it is important that we do this correctly. first of all and i am adamant about this, we should not end POW. I present you with an alternative, instead we should introduce an emission curve for the mining reward, which in effect would reduce the reward for mining over time. Most other mined cryptocurrencies also have this feature. for example Bitcoin, Litecoin and Darkcoin. Introducing a emission curve would also reduce the total supply of Exclusivecoin making it more rare.

It is important that Exclusivecoin remains a currency that can be mined, at least in its formative years. There are many reasons why POW is favorable, most importantly are the factors of distribution and security. In terms of the economics it makes Exclusivecoin less inflationary, and the incentive for mining is maintained because of the potential increase in value offsets the reduced mining reward.

I think we should also reduce staking frequency, this should give the wallet less of a processor footprint and should increase its performance. It would still be two percent per year, however staking rewards would just not come in as often. Since if we are doing a fork it makes sense to introduce any useful changes now, doing a fork is a change on a fundamental level, and an important step in the evolution of any cryptocurrency. This is why it is so important that the community is included in this process and is able to participate and contribute. So if anyone has any ideas that you think we should implement in Exlcusivecoin then please speak up and share your ideas with us. Since it is the community that Exclusivecoin serves.

Very precisely explained , Veritas. I like your point of view about this fork and I think reducing the reward and remain the PoW is the right key of success.

sounds like you know what you are talking about like i said before i am into any thing that gets this coin to where it belongs. And all i know is i am buying big time now because it is not going to stay at this price for long. And i am sure in the end that KC and the community will do what ever is right for our coin to excellerate

Remember also that part of the problem with paying for goods with any coin is that the merchant always goes back into BitCoin then to Fiat. This causes the selling. Liquidity can be a problem every coin faces. Excl is created out of thin air (minus hashing power costs) to pay for any merchants product. Every purchase is weighed against the cost of BitCoin at the time. So you have a real time cost in BitCoin to value at USD. So $20 right now would be $282 per BitCoin around .07095 of BitCoin to equal $20. So divide .07095 by .000013 per Coin and that requires 5458 Excel for $20. In order for the Merchants to accept Excl they can not lose money and dump that 5458 back onto the market, making very large volume sells! So they sell to BitCoin right away. There is no incentive for the Merchants to hold Excl since they can't pay their rent with it. Then the exchanges take a portion too.

So part of creating a better scenario would be to figure out how to create worth for the Merchants to hold Excl.
Then also how to create a better structure making Excl worth more but not have profiteers constantly making money from the buying and selling of the coin creating instability. PoW dumping also can cause this.

I think considering a fork is the first step since the coin will always be subjected to the fluctuations of new coin dumps now. It won't be able to jump up to a better position and if it did everyone would just mine it and dump it for profit.

Getting out of the normal mode of operation may be required. Using Exchanges only allows this type of behavior. I don't know what is right to replace it with but you can see it repeating over and over and just degrading BitCoin prices. Most of the money that goes out never comes back in.

I had wrote some ideas about how to make a coin back by the merchants goods and I never went forward with it but most of these ideas are somewhat centralizing to the coin. So most ideas are not ideal since it would require an authority. But right now the exchanges are the authority and have no interest in the benefit of the coin.

I will try to think up some more creative ways to enhance the coin and post them later...

Best wishes going forward to Excl and Kingscrown!
