why so many zero reward blocks?? usually a few hundred is good or maybe 1000, but 8000 thats a lot of wasted electricity

The burn address...technically coins just sit in that account never to be used? And I'm guessing the private key was destroyed? And if someone managed to generate that same address, all those coins would be theirs? (Yes, yes I know how infinitesimal tiny the chances are, this is just theoretical) On block 1661, keep wasting electric people  Since this re-targets every block, isn't piling on hashrate only a tiny bit quicker than one solo miner getting a block every 40 seconds? |
