if satoshi is indeed doxed, he has access to 1 million bitcoins. putting a 500 btc bounty on the hacker would be well worth it for him, and could set a precedent to not fuck with a guy who has access to that kind of money. didn't someone offer a bounty to track down whoever hacked him? forget his name..

I understand the fear about the early bitcoins. But nobody can know for sure if he has them, we can however know the hacker doesn't, otherwise he wouldn't be asking for bitcoins to release the info.

Not to throw conspiracy's out there, but there is such a thing as the petro-dollar. There is a reason why a small (by American terms) industry is being so closely watched and talked about. It is potentially disruptive, which scares a lot of people who own a lot of money.
