buttcoin.com is owned by BFL now. There was some buttcoin drama a few weeks back stating that the owner of the domain who I believe is a mod on /r/buttcoin was duped into selling it. He noticed when a bunch of anti-BFL articles were changed to praising BFL. Just FYI.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Oh man, imagining having to resist that temptation.
Why would Satoshi hand over the password to a reporter?

Why would Satoshi hand over the password to a reporter? Oh I doubt it is works. But just imagining not even being able to try.

Anybody could have made that twitter account, all the snapshots exists in this thread already. (Degavas1337 later contacted us to say that handle was a throwaway, and that he actually goes by LulzClerk. The Degavas account was only recently created, which supports the story, but make of it what you will.)

The fact they called Theymos "Michael" hints to me that they are either active in the community or have access to previous emails.
Im sure its not hard to find his first name.... It is , & really easy. Took me less then 1 hour to find Theymos real name, when i got my forum account compromised.

The real satoshi should split his milion bitcoin between the bitcoin foundation , the btctalk and keep some for him before disappearing again , the "saotshi-dump" crypto fear will end then .And bitcoin could have a big push
+1 -1000 By leaving them dormant and never spent, they are a donation to EVERYONE that uses bitcoin. Satoshi understands supply, demand, and decentralisation better than thou. Also, assuming that EVERYONE knows that Satoshi has ~1,000,000 BTC, isn't it also probable that, being the earliest of Bitcoin adopters, and someone who would have mined the shit out of BTC until at least 2011, that Satoshi would also have a shit ton of coins to "live on" that only he/she/they know of??? Thank You. Satoshi has no need to ever spend those 1 million coins. He has plenty of BTC in his back pocket.

It would be clever of Satoshi to hire to have his own account compromised- thus compromising any data which might be in it. Could be a good way to cover his tracks.

Administrators and mods, etc... please pm me ip addresses. I've also had some extortion attempts on ninjatech and I have collected quite a bit of evidence. I also have real names, ip address and physical address to go look for. A background about myself I have network and security experience and I've been tracking down internet criminals for 14+ years. I am also working on CHFI, CEH, MSIA ...I will volunteer my time for free.

Yes, i think so, but he was never arrested or convicted. That is what Roger's 37 BTC bounty is for, regardless of his age etc... oh snap - We may have a winner folks, check it - http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2fux6p/wheres_roger_ver_when_you_need_him/ckdrwca
