@WigitGetIt Yep, thanks. Confirmations have started to show up. It just took a very long time. Like I said, I guess I was just used to the other coin I was mining showing up almost instantaneously. Everything is straight now, and I can see confirmed coins, so all good to go. Thanks very much for your help.

I have placed a formal request with Cryptsy to add BSTY to the trading platform.  They are a good exchange and could really open us up to new investors/community members.  With the great development we continue to have on the BSTY coin and the Social Networks Manager I am excited for the future of this coin and community.  We are hoping to have the Yescrypt GPU Miner soon.  The developer has given us some great updates and we are excited to see the work.  BSTDev has been working really hard on porting the Yescrypt code to Java for the Android wallet and updating the client wallet to latest Bitcoin code 0.10.0.

We are always open to suggestions from the community and urge you to share them with us.

Please help show the interest to be added to Cryptsy by re-tweeting the below and replying with your comments and enthusiasm.

Hello,

I just released the gpu miners for yescrypt:

for nvidia cards (compute 35 and higher): github/djm34/ccminer-tpsp
for amd cards                                    : gihutb/djm34/sgminer

sgminer is still a work in progress, I am working on a new kernel
best setting so far for my 290x -w 32 --thread-concurrency 512 -I 9
It is difficult to go higher in intensity due to the high mem requirement. (also current speed is rather low... for the same reasons)

Having a Yescrypt GPU miner is a new step in the development of the BSTY coin. Thanks for this great news. we hope to get feedback from miners very soon. But this doesn't mean the end of the cpu mining. we are expecting to have a GPU average hashrate similar to the hash rate of a CPU (we still need to prove this). we cannot prevent GPU farms the same way we cannot prevent cpu farms. but something that we really need is to increase the hashrate to secure the network against malicious attacks. Any comment or feedback about this new GPU miner or the BSTY coin is welcome.  Cool

new kernels have been uploaded to github https://github.com/djm34/sgminer

there are 2 kernels now: one for amd --kernel yescrypt
one for nvidia (compute version 5.0 and higher 750ti and newer cards) --kernel yescrypt-multi
the kernel for nvidia is significantly faster especially for the 900's ccminer does 1.2kh/s on my 980 this kernel does around 1.5kh/s

these parameter seems to work best:

for amd (tested on a 290x) :
sgminer.exe --no-submit-stale --kernel yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://mine2.bsty.nonce-pool.com:4095 -u djm34.1 -p password  --gpu-platform 1 -w 8 --thread-concurrency 1024 -I 9

for nvidia (tested on gtx980, 750ti)
sgminer.exe --no-submit-stale --kernel yescrypt-multi -o stratum+tcp://mine2.bsty.nonce-pool.com:4095 -u djm34.1 -p password  --gpu-platform 0 -w 4   -g 2

sgminer kernel does not work well with compute 3.5 cards (eg 780ti) and in that case ccminer should be used.

edit: obviously you can also try yescrypt-multi on amd, but in my case the hashrate was divided by 2...

Below are the stats I got mining with my 750ti mining yescrypt coin BSTY.  Below is the ccminer package I am using with the settings below.

Code:
ccminer.exe --algo=yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coin-miners.info:3575 -u wigitgetit.1 -p x -i 0

Use the BSTYRunME.bat in the folder.  Be sure to change the pool username, and password.

they can be found here: http://ge.tt/5AAmOfF2/v/0?c
(I am not entirely sure that all the dll are there... my pc doesn't require any, so it is difficult to tell what is missing. however in principle you can find those dll in all sgminer release)
