Hey I tried to download the OPAL wallet and it wouldn't work on my computer? Any ideas why that might be? I downloaded both the one from this thread and the one from the opalcoin website and neither worked for my windows computer.  If anyone can help me with that I would greatly appreciate that because I would love to partake in OPALSTAKEDAY Cheers

Hi Everyone, Bass here

I realize there's been some low morale lately.

I want to take responsibility for the marketplace.  I set an unrealistic release day, and we almost released a market with a security flaw.  This has caused some of you to lose faith in Opal, and I understand.  The price fall is only due to a pump and dump group (who were creating all of the volume), led by a developer of a competing coin.  I hope you all can understand, and we're working on improving our release protocol.

The messed up release was my fault, not the rest of the team, so if you need to blame anyone, blame me.

A last minute issue has forced us to either go live in beta or to not go live at all. We are working hard to get fully operational as soon as we can.

The marketplace and file sharing are our priorities right now, and have all of the team's attention at the moment. That's why we have not reported further on the qt, we are still working on it and coming up with new ideas for it.
