Holy shit, that intro is epic!
EDIT: Looks like it's getting some hits!
LoL had to have a little fun with it!
In all seriousness the Explainer Video is spot on!!!... I went back and forth with productions crew to make it "in my eyes" - perfect as can be. I didn't want it to be too complicated or be soo boring that it lost people before it was over. Didn't expect 235+ views in one day. It really is getting decent hits! Nerio added it to the Vidioshare platform earlier today :
http://vidioshare.me/video/Vidioshare-Explainer-Video-Get-Creative-Watch-Share-Earn-VidioCoin/a9111cc6896ac801d9c141d6b1efb0a5I'm in the process of getting paired up with Nerio using What's APP so we can have instant communication when either him or I are away from our computers.
Also guys that are wondering about Nerio getting over to The Slack superNET, please be patient. I have that in the works. He has been sick in the hospital and I am getting him back up to speed with things.
I have reached out to James (JL777) and Chan3r and have had many talks with both of those guys. Chan3r loves the explainer video and is optimistic about Vidioshare, he just has to make sure its a perfect fit. superNET doesn't just go adding coins, so again please be patient and we will make it happen. Jahl has been a great help with great ideas and ways Vidioshare can carry its weight if it were to be added. I have the Channel created on slack for Vidioshare, and was personally invited by James to join slack on the behalf of Vidioshare.
Side Note: Got Capt Drake doing the portuguese-brazilian translation. For those of you that are wondering, I was blunt and said I didn't care for any Google Translated garbage, and he said "no way" and that "he actually lives in Brazil and it is his native language". Anyone else that can do a translations post up here in the thread and I will get the script over to you.
hey all. vidio looks like a great coin. And has potential upwards too. It does have a nice platform for sharing videos and I have been seeing trade2winn and nerio doing a great job here. Although nerio is quite inactive in the thread. I have a few queries about this.
Is 20000000 the total number of coins? excluding the yearly interests.
What kind of server setup do you have for future if vidioshare gets popular (and it will, with time). If it gets big traffic from the gamers videos and/or movies and tv shows etc. Do you have the money/time to provide such a server setup?
First off, thanks for the kind words! Working right along and VDO is still in its early stages...More to come.
Answer to first question is YES. 20M is the total coin supply excluding the yearly interests. ( There was a minimal stake of the entire 20M coin supply very early on as the coins were being moved from Nerio to Bittrex for distribution) It was addressed immediately and the extra VDO were distributed evenly amongst all IPO investors- about 90 BTC or so. Since IPO launch 45% of total coin supply has been staking at a 2.5% monthly interest rate and currently the total coin supply is 20,846,467 VDO.
See blockchain here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vdo/Currently the server setup is a dedicated Intel Xeon E3-1650 v2. This bad boy has got 4 Cores @ 3.5 GHz / 3.9 GHz Turbo with 8GB RAM with a 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA, RAID 1 which serves as a Primary Drive along with a extra 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA backup drive. This server setup was chosen for launch and we obviously plan to update our hardware as needed... the platform system requirements call for wayy less than what we have burning right now. The minimum server requirements for the Vidioshare Platform ask for a Dual Core Processor with 2.5 GHz ,4 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard disc space. For tightened data security it asks for a RAID controller which we have under control.
The Vidioshare Platform is based on the well-known PHP Framework symfony, which was designed especially for building robust applications in an enterprise context.
See here:
http://symfony.com/what-is-symfony If I told you MTV uses a platform just like this one would you believe me? Maybe you would, maybe not. If anything I can prove it...I don't shoot blanks.
The Vidioshare Platform is so scalable it's not even funny. It's meant for high traffic and extensive bandwidth usage. We can't break this platform no matter how many VDO users get on board. We will upgrade our hardware as needed like I said, but I can tell you we are no where close to that threshold to be uptight about our hardware configurations. We tripled up on the minimum requirements. If It went above and beyond the traffic numbers backup servers are available and would be implemented way before anyone noticed any hiccups.
I hope this answers your questions.
Hello Vidioshare community,
.
.
.
Questions to the Vidioshare admins:
- Will an introductory/self help videos be available on the site that shows how to purchase Vidioshare coins?
- Is there any way possible to allow visitors the ability to purchase Vidioshare coins directly from the site? (Preferably at a fix rate, like Coinbase does for Bitcoin for those users/new users that don't want to deal with going to an exchange to buy Vidioshare coins)
- What will the payment structure look like for users who provide content?
- Why should a consumer go to Vidioshare.com vs a site like Watchmybit?
- Can the option to allow split earnings for co-creators of a video be setup on Vidioshare as mentioned by Doug for WatchMyBit?

ANSWERED! We are integrating all of what you speak, that's nothing new. Thanks for your questions though. Answer to competition question is to join SuperNET. If VidioShare stays on its own road is tough, if VDO joins SuperNET then its like getting the best location inside the most popular shopping Mall.
Remember what the real estate guys always say -'location, location location' - if VDO joins SuperNET, lots of traffic, AND ease of use. People can exchange any coin for VDO inside SuperNET wallet (maybe), so VidioShare users could use the site without having any VDO, just exchange through the wallet.
Exactly what was on my mind! superNET would be huge in so many ways! Usability is key in any Currency big or small. Adding more branches to the tree helps more consumers get a chance to get involved even if they aren't a hard core supporter of said currency.
If this information helped you, please be sure to tip! This took a good part of my night to sit down and write up plus a dabble into my downstairs bar for a few relaxation drinks. It's been a long day!
