Thanks man. Talk with you on SuperNET later tom. Great suggestions! Really appreciate the support!

Well done! I'm ganna start posting links in comment sections asap!

Thank you Crazywack! Thanks again for chipping in on the cost to produce it. Took some time and patience but as you can see it was worth it!

Lets get this out there. I think I'm going to get some SEO done. Looking to have 8000+ backlinks created all to the Vidioshare Platform, along with paying for some blog write ups.

I don't have a problem logging in on my tablet??? What issues are you having??? If I remember correctly you posted something about not being to log in ages ago. Use this guide that is still posted on the OLD BETA site.

https://vidioshare.com/loginhelp/

AGAIN, the above link is the OLD BETA site but the login help I believe would be quite useful for you.

If your problem persists please PM me and we will get you sorted out.

Vidioshare on superNET?

Maybe just maybe I can make this happen Grin

...

Explainer Video is almost complete. Please be patient.  Things are coming together nicely and I am very happy to be able to soon release the finalized version to you guys.

Whales seem to be getting in and suppressing price. It's the way of Crypto...No guts no glory!

-trade2winnn

Well done trade2winn, the SuperNET is the correct strategy!! Keep up the good work.

edit: nerio, please consider joining the SuperNET slack asap, could be the catalyst for VidioShare adoption

Getting Nerio set up today. superNET wont be an over night add, but Chanc3r really digs the explainer and we get along. We will be speaking again today and the slack-superNET community is really helping out with ideas on how Vidioshare can be a huge asset to the superNET community!

Great deal! Thanks for the updates! What do you need for the SEO?

I have been looking at a few companies that I think fit the mold for the outcome were looking for.

All in all, it looks like it would cost $100 for a good round of SEO with no shortcuts taken, and $50 for a 3-4 high end blogs as some extra site content.

Now as I'm sure you know SEO is not a over night deal either, takes time and patience but the final product will have us #1 page on google with any and all keywords we choose.

The backlinking will start showing results a week or so in, but the end result is what I am after. Getting those content pages upfront on Google brings traffic and is the whole point of Search Engine Optimization. Wink

$150 should do the trick. I can donate $15-$20 to the project.

Appreciate any donations you could swing. Thanks for your support !

Questions to the Vidioshare admins:

  • Will an introductory/self help videos be available on the site that shows how to purchase Vidioshare coins?
  • Is there any way possible to allow visitors the ability to purchase Vidioshare coins directly from the site? (Preferably at a fix rate, like Coinbase does for Bitcoin for those users/new users that don't want to deal with going to an exchange to buy Vidioshare coins)
  • What will the payment structure look like for users who provide content?
  • Why should a consumer go to Vidioshare.com vs a site like Watchmybit?
  • Can the option to allow split earnings for co-creators of a video be setup on Vidioshare as mentioned by Doug for WatchMyBit?

Great Questions and concerns.

Please allow me to get back to you at a later time as I have got to get going.

Just want to let you know I have not ignored your questions or concerns.

Competition is just that...Competition. There is plenty of that in the Crypto community. Price could dump to 10 sats and we would still bust ass the same way we would bust it if price was 16K sats. As you mentioned sites like Vidioshare.me are going to be huge, so there is plenty of room for other players in the Video sharing playing field.

PS: Some of the questions you asked can be sought out on your own by going through all the thread pages.

Hello Vidioshare community,

I wanted to start off by mentioning that I am a Vidioshare holder, with that being said, I wanted to take the time to introduce the group to the competition (WatchMyBit.com). I recently listened to the Let's Talk Bitcoin Episode #168 (Paywalls, Tool and Tips.) In the episode, co-host Stephanie Murphy interviews Doug Scribner, founder of WatchMyBit.com, a YouTube-like service now in beta that lets content creators sell their videos directly to their audience directly, powered by basic bitcoin.

Basically, what I got from the interview is reassurance that micropayments are indeed going to be huge for video sharing sites among many other things.

Information about WatchMyBit.com:

  • They use Bitcoin (off the shell bitcoin technology as mentioned in the interview) as payment for content providers
  • They have a pay-per-view model where the consumer pays the cost of the video in order to view the video for 24 hours
  • Recommended price of at least $0.09 USD charge per video (Can be lower or higher, ultimately up to the creator of the video) (BTC @ 347.51 USD = $0.09 USD = 0.00025899 BTC)
  • They hope to implement an all access pass subscription in the possible future
  • They hope to create a X-rated site in the future as they have register the site SpankMyBit.com (seperate X-rated vs "family" videos)
  • Recommendation of putting teasing videos on the likes of YouTube, Vimeo, etc asking users to go to WatchMyBit.com to see the "full video"
  • They will avoid asking users to register an email account to allow anonymous viewing
  • WatchMyBit.com will charge providers of content 25% with 75% going to content providers
  • Content providers will be able to send a determined amount of their earnings to charity processors (https://doabitofgood.com/).
  • Looking to have sitcoms on the site as starting grounds to attract producers and Hollywood

Actually, I would also recommend listening to the Let's Talk Bitcoin podcast in general.)

WatchmyBit.com Site: http://www.watchmybit.com/

WatchmyBit.com Beta Site: http://beta.watchmybit.com//

For some more motivational push - BitShareMusic (http://www.bitsharesmusicfoundation.org/) seems like they will have a video sharing site that should be available some time in 2015. Vidioshare was mentioned in the interview as starting off a possible scamcoin so I ask the Vidioshare team, how will you step up to the coming competition?

Thanking everyone for their hard work and contributions thus far.

Here is my Vidio tip address if you found this to be useful: VBebuQrDaXa4iEwJbzz3ztLyZpScGvK48J

This is a very good analisis and i hope that using vidiocoin in this plataform instead of bitcoin has some advantages, because if not, we could meet some big troubles.

I hope the people and the devs come up with ideas so that using vidiocoin results more useful that using bitcoin in this plataform.

Answer to competition question is to join SuperNET. If VidioShare stays on its own road is tough, if VDO joins SuperNET then its like getting the best location inside the most popular shopping Mall.

Remember what the real estate guys always say -'location, location location' - if VDO joins SuperNET, lots of traffic, AND ease of use. People can exchange any coin for VDO inside SuperNET wallet (maybe), so VidioShare users could use the site without having any VDO, just exchange through the wallet.

@nerio, reach out to jl777 dude!!

yea, nerio should come Smiley
trade2winnn and I are doing our very best to show them how Vidioshare can be of use to them.
Its not easy since they don't allow just any additional coin, but we will die trying.

and yes, if added to supernet, ppl will be able to tip using any coin, it will be converted to vdo automatically through the supernet wallet (behind the scenes).
each coin has its own particular usage there.

Holy shit, that intro is epic!

EDIT: Looks like it's getting some hits!

LoL had to have a little fun with it!  Grin In all seriousness the Explainer Video is spot on!!!... I went back and forth with productions crew to make it "in my eyes" - perfect as can be. I didn't want it to be too complicated or be soo boring that it lost people before it was over. Didn't expect 235+ views in one day. It really is getting decent hits! Nerio added it to the Vidioshare platform earlier today : http://vidioshare.me/video/Vidioshare-Explainer-Video-Get-Creative-Watch-Share-Earn-VidioCoin/a9111cc6896ac801d9c141d6b1efb0a5

I'm in the process of getting paired up with Nerio using What's APP so we can have instant communication when either him or I are away from our computers.

Also guys that are wondering about Nerio getting over to The Slack superNET, please be patient. I have that in the works. He has been sick in the hospital and I am getting him back up to speed with things.

I have reached out to James (JL777) and Chan3r and have had many talks with both of those guys. Chan3r loves the explainer video and is optimistic about Vidioshare, he just has to make sure its a perfect fit. superNET doesn't just go adding coins, so again please be patient and we will make it happen. Jahl has been a great help with great ideas and ways Vidioshare can carry its weight if it were to be added. I have the Channel created on slack for Vidioshare, and was personally invited by James to join slack on the behalf of Vidioshare.

Side Note: Got Capt Drake doing the portuguese-brazilian translation. For those of you that are wondering, I was blunt and said I didn't care for any Google Translated garbage, and he said "no way" and that "he actually lives in Brazil and it is his native language". Anyone else that can do a translations post up here in the thread and I will get the script over to you.

hey all. vidio looks like a great coin. And has potential upwards too. It does have a nice platform for sharing videos and I have been seeing trade2winn and nerio doing a great job here. Although nerio is quite inactive in the thread. I have a few queries about this.

Is 20000000 the total number of coins? excluding the yearly interests.
What kind of server setup do you have for future if vidioshare gets popular (and it will, with time). If it gets big traffic from the gamers videos and/or movies and tv shows etc. Do you have the money/time to provide such a server setup?

First off, thanks for the kind words! Working right along and VDO is still in its early stages...More to come.

Answer to first question is YES. 20M is the total coin supply excluding the yearly interests. ( There was a minimal stake of the entire 20M coin supply very early on as the coins were being moved from Nerio to Bittrex for distribution) It was addressed immediately and the extra VDO were distributed evenly amongst all IPO investors- about 90 BTC or so. Since IPO launch 45% of total coin supply has been staking at a 2.5% monthly interest rate and currently the total coin supply is 20,846,467 VDO.
See blockchain here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vdo/

Currently the server setup is a dedicated Intel Xeon E3-1650 v2. This bad boy has got 4 Cores @ 3.5 GHz / 3.9 GHz Turbo with 8GB RAM with a 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA, RAID 1 which serves as a Primary Drive along with a extra 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA backup drive. This server setup was chosen for launch and we obviously plan to update our hardware as needed... the platform system requirements call for wayy less than what we have burning right now. The minimum server requirements for the Vidioshare Platform ask for a Dual Core Processor with 2.5 GHz ,4 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard disc space. For tightened data security it asks for a RAID controller which we have under control.

The Vidioshare Platform is based on the well-known PHP Framework symfony, which was designed especially for building robust applications in an enterprise context.

If I told you MTV uses a platform just like this one would you believe me? Maybe you would, maybe not. If anything I can prove it...I don't shoot blanks.

The Vidioshare Platform is so scalable it's not even funny. It's meant for high traffic and extensive bandwidth usage. We can't break this platform no matter how many VDO users get on board. We will upgrade our hardware as needed like I said, but I can tell you we are no where close to that threshold to be uptight about our hardware configurations. We tripled up on the minimum requirements. If It went above and beyond the traffic numbers backup servers are available and would be implemented way before anyone noticed any hiccups.

I hope this answers your questions.

Hello Vidioshare community,

.
.
.

[/s]

ANSWERED! We are integrating all of what you speak, that's nothing new. Thanks for your questions though.

Exactly what was on my mind!  superNET would be huge in so many ways! Usability is key in any Currency big or small. Adding more branches to the tree helps more consumers get a chance to get involved even if they aren't a hard core supporter of said currency.

If this information helped you, please be sure to tip! This took a good part of my night to sit down and write up plus a dabble into my downstairs bar for a few relaxation drinks. It's been a long day!

I think getting a "let's talk Bitcoin" interview would be awesome. I just listened to the watch my bit episode... The watch my bit created mentioned vidios hare as a possible scam coin... A little frustrating, and a cheap shot.
