I don't think anyone should ever take their own life over Bitcoin, or any other form of currency. It doesn't seem that her work was the only contributing factor for her committing suicide. She apparently had troubles in her personal life. This is a sad thing to see, and I wish she would have taken a different route. Suicide is rarely, if ever, a good option.

No it shouldn't. In this case it was attributed to stress and personal issues. Being the CEO of any company regardless of it being bitcoin related will be stressful. SINGAPORE — A Singapore Coroner's Court has found that the American CEO of a virtual currency exchange committed suicide earlier this year in Singapore because of work and personal issues. |

Although this is old news it still makes me sad. The death is not attributable to Bitcoin, it is attributable to perceived personal failure combined with the perception that suicide is the only way out. I think there is more than one factor that contributed to this perception. |

May be unnecessary but it was due to the coroners report. The artcile was dates yesterday, so kinda new news in that respect. |

Must have missed this news myself earlier in the year, such a shame to see someone like this take their own life because of personal and work problems. Nobody should ever feel like they can't continue in life.
