We've been doing these competitions for a while now. It all started when we enabled youtube and imgur embeds in the chat on FastBets:  Then we started to host small competitions like: "I'm gonna give 100bit to the user that can post the best trailer to a horror movie" (the movie "Maniac" won). Was really not about the coins, but a lot of fun. So we wanted to share the fun with the bitcointalk community. Do understand that taken out of context this might seem odd. For this reason we're gonna up the prize to 250bit=25000satoshi tomorrow. Might go down in the future again, we'll see  |

1.one should be able to switch available games with the amount at stake without having to cash out and join the game if they would like to do so.
2.also chat console box should be presesnt at all times. not just when we are in a game.
chat box should also show the time with the messages.
3.Names in chat box should appear differently as we should be able to distinguish between a moderator or others members(players).
4.A hyperlink could be added with the names attached which would open a model window with user profile details so to make this more transparent.
also links like youtube and bitcoin thread thread should be hyperlinked to their respective destinations. so to ease us reaching it. not having to copy and paste in the browser. saves time.

How about a weekly lottery with an Jackpot. Players can buy tickets (50 bits?) and on the end of the week the players can win. Maybe

So many good points here. Love that you point out a lot of small pain points that we really need to get on. It's what I've been doing for a few months now, fix little things that annoy my users. Just test your Webpage on most used Web browsers - FireFox and Chrome, on all Windows from XP to 10, and average Webpage loading time. This is just starting idea. It is hard to make good Web page with fast loading time. |
