Yes the only login issue was human error on myside sry for the fud not my intention. adjusted the post to reflect that Wink
Old tired sneaky single malt my only excuses.

Chris was there to hold my hand and spelled it out so even i could understand unparalleled service.

Yeah, i wonder if he has any support staff or anything... he does a pretty good job if he's doing it all solo.

Ok, so below are the results for the calculator based on the actual numbers Chris posted today for payouts... The cliff notes version is:

- All coin estimates are under 1% error, with the exception of DRK (which was 8% under estimated). Which means I might have tweaked one too many things, i have a couple little items I can revert back this week... but it also could just be the nature of the friggin coin.

- The only real payout issue is with VTC, the calc over-estimated by 5.98%... even though the coin estimate was pretty solid. The new calculations take the last price I capture for a mining week (Thursday night, before 00:00 GMT) and adjusts the full week by that. I had something like 0.000178 vs. Chris' 0.00017 ...  Now this might be related to Cryptsy's crash overnight, since I believe this is what Chris uses for the payout price (this is where I pull prices from too)... but I did look around and couldn't find any exchange that had it at 0.00017... maybe he just rounds down.. I dunno.

- The DRK price difference matches the estimation % error, so that's ok... we'll see what this week brings.

Otherwise, If I can get everything to perform at something like 1-3% error rate, i'd probably be ok with that... hopefully the VTC price issue is just this one time thing and might be Cryptsy related.

Well, now I'm more confused... BTC payments came in and compared to the calculator, this is what I got:

LTC Payment Error: 0.626378320883%
VTC Payment Error: 1.1080024614%

Now the difference in VTC is probably because of the 5% bonus (I guess he's still giving that on VTC)... maybe my math is off... my head hurts.

Haha why did you go to sleep early at the weekend ? The payout is very early yesterday.

I don't understand what do you mean with 5% VTC? My VTC payout is only off from 0.65% from your calc. Your calc give me 3255.420VTC while I get 3234.379VTC.
LTC is even more accurate. Only 0.004% off. What do you expect, man? You have done perfect already.

Well, the issue is really I think something I don't know if i can correct. The reason the VTC->BTC payments seem ok is because Chris pays out a 5% bonus on VTC-> BTC... which I don't take any bonuses into account... I guess technically the calc, if more accurate, would always be 5% under in BTC estimates, but accurate compared to payouts... it's not a huuuuge deal, but i'll be monitoring it and DRK some more.. but i'm working on an order/roi tracker thing that should be cool.

Has anybody used the "convert to shares" option. If so, are you happy with the conversion over the payout?

I just added the Shares Conversion to the calculator as well (thanks to some helpful members of Litecoin Talk who provided the #'s)... so you can see that along with BTC/USD estimates...

Has there been any indication/rumours/made up info on what will happen when VTC changes Algo, apart from simply moving to DRK instead?
